I have been using this battery for about 2 months. It had intensive use on a trip to Europe and worked as well as the original Fujifilm battery. I would recommend that you buy two of these for a total of three batteries, as I had one or two days when I ran out of batteries with just two (the original and the Pearstone). Particularly if you are reviewing photos in-camera or using the camera's raw converter features. Also if you are travelling, consider the Pearstone dual battery charger (buy a universal power supply though, as the Pearstone one is 110V only).

I purchased the battery as a back-up for the original and was happy about the price being less than half. It gives nearly the same performance and it does it at a friendly pricetag. Charges like the original and makes you always ready for those few extra shots when there's no charger around. Get a couple at this price. I have purchased pearstone batteries before and have been happy each time. Go generic you'll never know the difference.
