Zero Chroma
The black Vario-SC for the iPad2 and new iPad from ZeroChroma is an intriguing combination theater-stand that not only provides added protection to your computer with its tough construction but can easily be used with Apple's optional Smart Cover. The Vario's body is made from rugged thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and the stand from a tough polycarbonate. The rubberized, shock-absorbing body case can be used in many ways - as a lap case, on a table or even in your hand in any number of unlimited positions. This triple threat case provides added flexibility and pleasure to your iPad since it gives you complete freedom to not only use it with the Smart Cover but offers you a choice of eleven viewing angles in either portrait or landscape format. The case also protects your delicate screen but you need not worry about typing - type as you please since the Vario-SC's protective coating can take it.
The Vario-SC rotates in either direction for hands-free viewing, gaming or reading plus gives you enhanced and more comfortable, ergonomic typing positions. The fold-away stand has a neat rubber tip that helps prevent slippage on any surface. For even more flexibility, the stand itself can also be used in different modes, i.e. as a prop up stand or as a handheld grip either with your palm or by simply grasping it. The multi- adjustable stand is wonderful and i use it as a. Handle far more than I thought I would.The case fits well and easily though does not come off when holding it by the handle.The rubber case has a good non slip feel though it is more of a scratch and ding protection rather than the drop protection I was hoping for.

This product is especially good for presentations without fear of dropping the iPad. It also works well as multiple level stands for easy manageability. I don't have any negatives but I wish there were better options for caring the iPad with the product protecting the back.

I carry a zippered folio already, so was looking for a case/stand that didn't add bulk to my iPad3 so I could continue to stick it into the folder pocket in my folio. This is the perfect case for me - it's versatile: landscape or portrait orientation in a range of angles, very slim - doesn't add much bulk or thickness to the beautifully thin iPad, stand folds flat, can use as a handle too. Most cases were limiting in terms of number of angles you could view the iPad or it was just landscape or portrait but not both. I didn't need a protective case because I was carrying my iPad around in my zippered leather folio - but the iPad was slippery and heavy to hold for any prolonged use - this worked well because it's hardly there, yet it's a versatile stand and can double as a handle for hand-holding use.
