The clear Snap Shield Secure from Belkin is a hard shell cover that easily snaps on to protect the back of your new iPad. One of its main benefits is that it will work in conjunction with Apple's optional SmartCover that guards the front of the new iPad. Built-in magnetic steel strips safely hold the SmartCover flat against the computer. By using these two accessories together, you now have complete, 360° protection for your new iPad. The Snap Shield Secure displays a very thin profile and is also lightweight so you need not fear adding excess weight when you place it within your shoulder bag or briefcase.

I wanted a clear case that would work well with my Apple smart cover. This is clear, has a great rubberized texture, and the small piece of metal holds the smart cover firmly in place when opened.
