The orange/light gray Flipside Sport 10L AW Backpack from Lowepro is the smaller brother of the 15L version but remains a lightweight technical daypack for the outdoor shooter who needs to carry his gear in rough venues while maintaining the ability to gain rapid access to it. This pack allows you to pack your standard DSLR with grip and up to a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached making it a great choice for the nature or sports photographer. It will also accommodate an extra 1-2 lenses or flashes as well as your tripod or monopod. Plus, since Lowepro understands that remote locations don't often have water fountains available, the pack accepts an optional 1 liter hydration reservoir.
The Flipside 10L is made from a tough combination of nylons and polyurethane and will stand up to moisture well with its exterior silicon waterproof coating. For extreme foul weather, the Flipside comes with a rapidly deployable all-weather cover. If you're a mountaineer, it will also hold your ice axe or trekking poles. It's also a fast access pack with side access openings that eliminate the need to remove the entire pack to retrieve your camera and lens. The pack contains a handy, removable and adjustable camera compartment that gives you the freedom to pre-pack your gear and remove it when you want all your gear in front of you for a shoot. The padded dividers keep your gear safe and nestled within their own configured compartments. This removable compartment contains a handy storm flap to protect it from the elements you will inevitably come up against.
The waist belt gives you the option to slip out of the shoulder straps and let the pack unfold in front of you so you have complete access to the pack's contents without removing it. This feature resembles having a table set out in front of you. The shoulder straps are wide and adjustable and supported by an additional sternum strap that provides additional balance while hiking. They contain perforated and breathable air channels for heat dissipation all designed for maximum comfort while outside. Multiple adjustment points on the pack assure an ergonomic, feel good fit.
Nature shooters will appreciate the secure side attachment system that holds your tripod, held by a wide flap with buckles. For small accessories, the back panel has a zippered pocket. Speaking of zippers, they all have long pull tabs that are easy to use when you are wearing gloves. The Flipside 10L is backed by Lowepro's standing lifetime warranty.

Comments about Lowepro Flipside Sport 10L AW Daypack (Orange/Light Gray):
I've been looking for the perfect way to carry my 60D with 3 lenses, a flash and tripod. This is my fifth attempt at getting a bag. I was skeptically at first about the inside zipped setup but it 's pretty convenient. I had a lowpro sling and a large Kata bag and also a shoulder bag. I think this is better than the sling because when open in front of you, everything is laid outnicely and easy to get to. Also more stable when biking or hiking. If I need a flash, I can use the side expandible pocket where the water bladder would go, but if not, its a nice compact pack. I still have the Kata if I need to carry more stuff but this is a conveniently sized bag for daily use. Like the Color too.

Comments about Lowepro Flipside Sport 10L AW Daypack (Orange/Light Gray):
I tried this pack, but ended up with the 15L due to it being too small to hold my 24-70 F2.8 & 70-200 F2.8 lenses with the hoods. The pack is very sleek, and compact. The tripod holder is great, and it is very comfortable to wear. [The 15L is basicaly the same, only larger] If you are using different lenses, with smaller overall diameters, and want to carry a minimal kit for light weight. This is a great little pack.

Comments about Lowepro Flipside Sport 10L AW Daypack (Orange/Light Gray):
My biggest concern was that the pack would be too long for my size (I am 5'2" tall and have a shorter torso than legs) or too wide. It is perfect (I almost wish I had gotten the larger pack but it is perfect for the use I intended - a trip to the Galapagos Islands with minimal gear). It is very handy -- holds my D800 with a 28-300 mm lens on and has room for at least two more lenses. Also has a handy compartment for a tripod, water, and a hidden cover for inclement weather. Very lightweight and comfortable. (No room for an ipad though, unless you have it against the camera/lenses - but it doesn't profess to have that capability).
