With 4200 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1 the WXGA-resolution Epson PowerLite 1940W Multimedia Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors.

It's got an international 100 to 240 VAC 50/60Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals. It can also project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition signals. And those signals will stay in pristine digital form from the source thanks to the 1940W's HDMI port.

All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes. The 1940W is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into one of the 1940W's two USB ports (A or B) and use it to project a slide show or presentation.

This projector is also equipped to use your local network (LAN). You can make presentations from any PC on your network and you can manage, monitor and control the projector.

With direct power on you can set the 1940W to turn itself on as soon as it's plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson's instant off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it into its included carrying case and move on.

Comments about Epson PowerLite 1940W Multimedia Projector:

We are using this projector in our church auditorium that seats 200 people. The projector is bright and the clarity is good. The connectivity options are a + as we are connected 3 different ways with this projector. We are particularly happy with the network connection as we have the projector hardwired to our router and then all wireless laptops on our network can then send their screens to the projector. We are very pleased with this purchase and hope to get long and happy service from this system. Our prior projector (Hitachi CP-X880) was aging and this Epson projector was definitely an improvement in both picture quality and brightness.

Comments about Epson PowerLite 1940W Multimedia Projector:

I've had my PowerLite 1940W for a few months now and I've been happy with it. I needed something very bright to use in a room with windows I could not darken. This does the job for me. To get the brightness and sharpness, the unit does need to be a little heavier and larger than others, but I was willing to accept that. Sharp picture and very easy to connect. Amazing that I can connect to a PC and show a PowerPoint with only a USB cable but it works - effortlessly. My prior was an Optoma EP7155 which I was not happy with. DLP picture was sharp, but failed after only 400 hours. Not happy with Optoma, contacted them and they replied it "is a discontinued unit. We no longer have parts to repair this unit. Plus, if we do the replacement part is $500. I think it's better to purchase a new unit." No thanks Optoma DLP.Happier now with Epson and LCD.
