These were my first pair of earphones I bought for myself. I needed a pair for when I work out/run. It's perfect when I'm just walking but when I start to run, it makes big sound thump sound every time the cord hits my body... So I end up holding the cord away from my body.

Comments about Skullcandy INK'D 2.0 Earbud Headphones (Black and Black):
I bought these to use as in-ear monitors but ended up loving them and bought a few pairs for myself. They sound very clear and are very well balanced at moderately high volume. If you need your headphones louder than that, you should look at buying different silicone molds or making customized ones.
If you turn these up more than 90% when using iPhone 4S the highs will take over the rest of the frequencies. But these headphones are louder than all other in-ears I have tried before with my phone. So 90% sounds like 120% on the SMS 50 cent edition ones I used to own (returned them when I saw that they can't touch the INK'D 2 with a 2000ft pole).
In my opinion these have way more balanced sound and manage to pump more bass than the Beats in ears.
Really, I can't believe they sound so full and are so comfortable. I can sweat, run, pull on the cord, drop them on the table like a maniac, step on them when they fall on the floor and they're still good to go the next time I put them in my ears.
The only "bad" side about skullcandy in general is that they seem to break fairly fast. For the price, I don't consider that an issue, since you can easily buy 2 pairs, and they come with lifetime warranty. Skullcandy really does replace your bad headphones, you just don't want to wait for them to do it. They take really long.

Comments about Skullcandy INK'D 2.0 Earbud Headphones (Black and Black):
I purchased these on black friday as they were a bit cheaper and I tend to ruin the earbud style headphones as they are commonly forgetten in a pocket of clothing that is washed. They work pretty well for the price...and most likely I will lose them or accidentally destroy them...I've ruined too many nice earbud headphones to by expensive earbuds now.

No complaints here. B&H offered a great price and I needed new earbuds for the gym. Hopefully these last longer than my previous (off brand, cheap) earbuds I got on sale from @. But thus far, everything I expected. Another great transaction with B&H.

Headphones work great, they seem a little less durable than the original INK'D headphones but I take care of them so they should be all good. Great value for the price.
