The Linksys Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter with 3x3 Antenna supports 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless WiFi standards, as well as 2.4 or 5.0 GHz Wireless-N technology for interference free connectivity. Dual-Band technology also maximizes throughput. The adapter features a 3x3 antenna and supports transfer rates up to 450 Mbps. It's compatible with WEP, WPA and WPA2 (personal and enterprise). For added convenience, the adapter supports easy Cisco Connect style setup and WPS push-button / pin control. Plus, there's a cradle base included with the USB transmitter.

I bought this as my computer was at the other end of the house from my Internet router and I couldn't pick up the signal. I had already bought 2 other adapters but neither of then could pick it up. This one not only picks up the signal excellently but also gives me great speed. I would highly recommend this adapter.

Eliminated my network cable from running across the floor. I only get 144 Mbps even being less than 12 feet from my router. I don't notice an appreciable loss of speed though.

I have two in use to access the internet via a Lynksys EA4500 Router on another floor of my home. One adapter is installed on a notebook and othe other on a desktop. Windows XP shows both running at speeds up to 450 bps. Setup involved pulgging the adapter into a USB port and connecting to the home network. So far I am extremely pleased with the adapters and router and the performance of my home network. I have no complaints.
