The Hood for Sony PVM 1741 OLED Monitor from Hoodman includes a snap mount kit. The snap studs screw into the sides of the monitor bezel using the holes present in the bezel. The four snap studs make a secure mounting system very quickly. The hood stops all the reflections and glare coming in from the side and above your monitor - from direct lighting in particular as well as from nearby objects. They are easy to fit and you can view your screen with tremendous focus. It reduces screen glare. The hood helps to keep private data safe from prying eyes.

I am around these things all the time, knew what I was getting and yet am pretty disappointed by the fit and finish. The nylon outer is baggy around the coroplast inner such that it sags down into view. thats pretty lame. the opening to view is already pretty small and with the bottomer on you really have to make sure to look in just right. its annoying. I plan to send it back and request a better one. otherwise, its what it is. but for a one billion % mark-up you'd think it would be well crafted. aint rocket science....
