The Pro Effects Kit for Canon EF from Lensbaby serves up a vast array of unique selective focus techniques to boost your photography out of the ordinary and into the superlative. This kit includes the Lensbaby Composer Pro with Sweet 35 Optic, the Edge 80 Optic, Macro Converters, Lens Cleaning Cloth and the Lensbaby System Bag. No matter what kind of photography you do, this versatile kit will supercharge your images, inspiring and guiding you to new heights of creativity. This kit is for cameras with a Canon EF mount.
The Composer Pro refines and enhances the popular and award winning Lensbaby Composer by upgrading the swivel ball and focus mechanism to provide professional performance to deliver ultra-smooth focus and tilt control.
The Sweet 35 Optic is a 35mm, selective focus optic with a 12-blade adjustable aperture that provides creative control over the size of the sweet spot of focus. This is the widest focal length selective focus Lensbaby optic currently available.
The Edge 80 Optic is an 80mm, flat field of focus optic with a 12-blade adjustable aperture that provides creative control over the size of the slice of focus. When tilted, the Edge 80 delivers a slice of tack sharp focus through the image, bordered by soft blur. When pointed straight ahead, the Edge 80 can be used just like a high-quality straight lens.
The Lensbaby Macro Converters include an 8mm converter and a 16mm converter. They can also be stacked together to make a 24mm converter.
The included Lensbaby System Bag has removable and adjustable elastic straps inside, allowing you to customize and carry your favorite Lensbaby shooting set-up. The bag includes several convenient compartments including an outside zipper and an inside mesh sleeve. Touch-tab straps on the bottom of the bag allow you to attach one system bag to another, further expanding your capacity to easily tote all of your gear. A lens cleaning cloth is also included.

- The Composer Pro refines and enhances the popular and award winning Lensbaby Composer by upgrading the swivel ball and focus mechanism to provide professional performance. The Composer Pro's metal swivel ball design and refined focus mechanism deliver ultra-smooth focus and tilt control. It ships with the Sweet 35 Optic installed and is compatible with all optics in the Lensbaby Optic Swap System. Simply tilt the lens to a desired angle then focus with a manual focusing ring.

- The Sweet 35 Optic is a 35mm, selective focus optic with a 12-blade adjustable aperture that provides creative control over the size of the sweet spot of focus. This is the widest focal length selective focus Lensbaby optic currently available.
- Edge 80 Optic
- The Edge 80 Optic is an 80mm, flat field of focus optic with a 12-blade adjustable aperture that provides creative control over the size of the slice of focus. - Macro Converters
- The Lensbaby Macro Converters include an 8mm converter and a 16mm converter. They can also be stacked together to make a 24mm converter. The Macro Converters simply screw into the Lensbaby lens body - and then the optic screws into the converter.

The Lensbaby System Bag is a great addition to your camera gear. The removable and adjustable elastic straps inside, allow you to customize and carry your favorite Lensbaby shooting set up. The bag includes several convenient compartments including an outside zipper and an inside mesh sleeve, perfect for stowing your Aperture Kit, Macro Kit, or even extra media cards.
Velcro straps on the bottom of the bag allow you to attach one System Bag to another, further expanding your capacity to easily tote all of your Lensbaby gear. The Lensbaby System Bag also includes a removable shoulder strap.

Just getting started with Lensbaby but right out of the box, seems well constructed. I can see right off this will take some practice but the possibiities evident from just a couple of brief sessions are very interesting.

These lenses take time to master, but once you get the hang of it, the possibilities are endless. The blur effect is very appealing and sometimes even mistifying, the macro kit is great, and when combining the Composer with the Edge 80 you can get a "miniature effect", which is an excellent alternative to experiment with this awesome effect if you can't afford a tilt/shift lens.

I ordered the kit because I was in a hurry and just wanted to have everything I needed. Afterwards, I was told by a sales person (not at B&H) it is actually cheaper to buy the individual components of the kit separately. I suppose you pay a little extra for the bag... which I don't use anyway. Also, the lens cloth looks large in the product photo. In reality, it is almost a postage stamp. I was going to call the manufacturer to complain but, I have no shortage of free lens cloths from other vendors.In short though... the Lensbaby does what it is supposed to. Good product overall.
