The lavender Mimi Bag from Kelly Moore Bags is a combination satchel and shoulder bag. For those times when you need a shooting bag, attach the included messenger strap with pad and you've got a spacious and functional shoulder bag. However, if you prefer to carry your gear closer to your body, simply use the two shorter over-the-shoulder straps that have a 6.5" clearance. Either way, you have a bag that will hold your pro DSLR, a 9" lens, two flashes plus accessories. Or, stash your compact DSLR with grip attached, perhaps two lenses, flash and your accessories. As a third option, the bag can be used as an everyday carry-all for your baby's necessities such as diapers, snack, shoes, creams and bottle.
The water-resistant bag is made from man-made material and boasts gun metal hardware for a stylish accent. Storage is not a problem for the Mimi since it contains two 5.5 x 5.5" front zippered pockets and one 9.5 x 6.0" rear zippered pocket. The back also has an open pocket for your iPad.
Inside, the five padded dividers are configurable to accommodate whatever gear you are carrying that day. The exterior side walls and bottom have been reinforced with extra padding for enhanced durability. Access to the Mimi is via its top zipper and interior hidden magnetic snap. Backed by Kelly Moore's one-year warranty, the Mimi brings class and flexibility to a bag that doesn't resemble a traditional camera bag yet carries enough gear to get you through that shoot.

I use this bag as my walk-around bag - I had originally gotten an F-Stop bag(Tilopa BC) and I looked quite ridiculous walking around in a urban setting with it, I can assure you. So, I ordered this bag and it was promptly delivered. It was easy to configure the bag to my preferences. I carry the 5D MKII with the 70-200 f/2.8L and the 17-40 f/4L around normally. Usually, I have the 17-40 on the body and carry the 70-200 in an upright position, but it can be easily configured in less than 10 seconds to have it the other way around. I also carry my charger, three extra batteries, my remote release cable, my flash, lens hoods etc and it all fits perfectly along with my wallet. It's completely full at this point, and since it weighs about 13 lbs will all that in there, my shoulder does get sore if I've been walking around for an hour or so - but that's to be expected. The pad on the shoulder strap helps a lot. I wear it diagonally over my body and love how easily accessible the equipment is when worn this way. I am very hard on everything I own (I tend to go on a lot of spontaneous outdoor adventures) and so far it's holding up well. I'll probably buy another Kelly Moore bag (the hobo) for lighter loads, but I'd recommend this bag to anyone who wants to fly under the radar with a decent amount of gear.

For me as a professional wedding photographer it is really important to look like a guest on a wedding, so I can take real life emotion shots without disturbing the wedding party. In times of smart phone, customer digital, mirrorless and SLR camera users it is inevitable not to be on one of the pictures of the wedding guest, and with the Mimi Bag my fashionable appearance is much better than with a big black masculine photo bag or backpack of another brand.
The Mimi Bag is lightweight and flexible. I can carry my Canon EOS 7D, EF 70-200/4,0IS, Tamron 24-70/2,8VR, Tokina 12-24/4,0 and Speedlite 580EXII plus small stuff with me, without resigning anything.
