The DCP-J140w Compact All-In-One Color Inkjet Printer from Brother prints up to 5 ppm (ISO speed) in both black and color. The printer features borderless photo printing up to 8.5 x 14" with a 6000 x 1200dpi resolution. The DCP-J140w also features a 4-cartridge ink system so only the color that runs out needs to be replaced, providing a lower cost per print. The printer's high 1200 dpi are ideal for printing full page photos, brochures, and color documents. The DCP-J140W can both scan and copy documents and photos up to 8.5 x 11" (letter) in color as well as black & white.
In addition to printing via a standard USB connection, the printer includes built-in Wi-Fi capabilities for printing from any computer on your local wireless network. Instead of 1 printer per computer, place the all-in-one in a central location and save both money and space. Additionally, you can print from & scan to an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android device. Simply download the Brother iPrint&Scan app from the App Store or Marketplace.

Re-purposed and store brand cartridges are available from same establishment and may be an option if quality is not a concern.Very nice wireless capability not available in many other printers at this price point- again, makes this a nice complement for a laptop or netbook.
