The Anova LED EcoFlood Flight Case Kit by Rotolight is based on a revolutionary LED flood light source with a host of features that will make it indispensible in the studio or on location for large or small productions. Weighing a little under 6.0 lb and measuring 14.96 x 13.38 x 2.16", the Anova manages to output the equivalent of 1,000W of tungsten light with color temperatures variable from 3150 - 6300K. But what's power without control? The Anova offers wired DMX, WiFi and back panel control options. There's even an optional iPhone / iPad App that allows you to sample the ambient light's color and intensity and accurately reproduce it on site. You can then transmit the info anywhere in the world to match up Anovas being used on location. A fader function will allow you to control multiple lights and settings with transitions, wirelessly.
The Anova Flight Case Kit comes with a set of filters, a TVMP connector for 5/8" stud light stands and an aluminum hard flight case. Optional accessories include a louver, barndoors, softbox, Fresnel attachment, reflectors and a T-Connector plate, as well as yokes made to your specifications.

Comments about Rotolight Anova LED EcoFlood Flight Case Kit:
So I've been hearing about this LED light that is completely wireless, 'Yeh right' I thought. The Rotolight ANOVA, totally wireless with iphone control and battery powered. I've got the Rotolight interview kit for my smaller projects, a really useful LED lighting kit, that just uses 3 batteries and lasts for ages. So with this in mind I looked into this amazing new LED light and ended up buying it. Certainly wasn't disappointed with the ANOVA, and it made it even better with the app. Like a kid with a new toy I spent half the day playing and experimenting with the light and the app.
Gives you a gorgeous quality of light and it's really simple to use, whether wirelessly or just using the controls on the back! I needed a soft lighting source with an option to use as a fill light for certain types of ambient light. At the moment I'm using it in conjunction with my other studio lights, but budget permitting (although it's not an expensive light) I'll be ordering more of these very soon.

Comments about Rotolight Anova LED EcoFlood Flight Case Kit:
After recently hiring the ANOVA kits for a shoot, I had to own one! I have been looking for some portable, flexible lighting kits for a while now that gives a high quality lighting source without loads of heat and is accurately variable in colour temperature for colour correction and ambient fill. Not to mention I am always on the move, from shoot to shoot, whether it be photographic or more recently video so I had to have something portable!
The Anova is a beautifully manufactured LED light, with a real 'APPLE' product feel to it! But most importantly the actual lighting source is fantastic with it's wide beam angle it gives a lot more coverage than most (used 1x1 lite panels in the past) with a really nice quality of light.
I got the chance to use the Magic Eye app on set, it certainly raised a few eyes brows and had the 'wow factor'. The fact that I can control the lights brightness and colour temperature without having to go any where near them was AWESOME! More seriously tho, it gave me more time setting up the perfect shot with camera angle and the subjects position rather than having to run round the studio changing the brightness!
I've been commissioned to shoot a short video soon involving 'talent' of a range of ages so safety is a priority. But with the ANOVA I don't have an issue!
no heat, no wires, no worries!

Comments about Rotolight Anova LED EcoFlood Flight Case Kit:
I think I was more excited than anyone about getting one of these Anova lights on my sets. I have been looking for a replacement for my Kino Flo Diva 400 light because it just wasn't powerful enough for some of the daylight scenarios I have been faced with lately. All of the information via the website, videos, and copy submitted by Rotolight gave the impression that the Anova light was comparable to a 1K. I should have trusted the photometrics.
My Diva 400 is brighter than the Anova and I was very disappointed in the light output intensity in a side by side comparison. I needed this light to be 50% brighter than the Diva 400 and it was probably 25% dimmer than it.
With all that said, this light is amazing if you are looking for the light output equivalent of say...a 500 or 650 watt light. The controls are amazing, the construction is top notch, the flight case foam is well done, the softness in the light is great. If this light had more intensity, I would gladly pay its full price, but in its current state, I believe it is not worth the money. Unfortunately, I will be returning this light for the second time (first one I picked up from B&H had a "wedge" of LED that would not come on).
This light has amazing potential and I am excited to see what they do with it in the future. I wanted so badly to show off this light to the film and video community.

My friend told me i had to check out this light after seeing it at NAB 2012, and i was absolutely blown away by it when i had a look for myself!! Extremely bright but very soft light, lightweight so great on location and in the studio, and having measured this with my Minolta CL200-A Colorimeter it is the most colour accurate LED panel i've ever tested!! Looks very cool too, you really get that 'WOW' factor every time a client sees it like they are getting very special treatment which makes my job easier! Can't recommend more highly!
