Comments about Power2000 BP-718 AC/DC Rechargeable Battery Pack & Charger Kit:

I just bought a spare camcorder battery for my Canon Vixia. B&H was the best price on the continent, no exception.

It was delivered to me in Canada in just two days and is performing just as claimed.

I will now purchase all of my spare batteries - DSLR, Camcorder, phone if avaialable, from B&H.

Comments about Power2000 BP-718 AC/DC Rechargeable Battery Pack & Charger Kit:

This is a good inexpensive alternative to you back-up battery needs. I have 2 of these as back-ups. Fairly quick charge. I had an event I was filming where I forgot to charge up one of these beforehand. Plugged in my second one when I got there and it was charged up before the other one ran out. The car adapter comes in handy when shooting out in the field. Only downside is that it doesn't have the chip in it to communicate with the camera, so you don't know how much record time is left on it like you do with the original battery that comes with your camera. I basically use the regular battery up first and then switch to these as a backup if I need to keep filming.

This battery pack works just fine with my video camera. Like the package says, it won't show the battery life on screen, but for all functional purposes the product works well. I've had no issues with charging or using my backup battery. Great for the price.

Canon VIXIA HF R32 battery lasted 22 mins. on 1st use. over 1 hour of use on 1st use of BP-718 and going strong.
NOTE: small tradeoff for low price. Camcorder and battery DO NOT COMMUNICATE with each other. "Continue using this battery pack?" message in view screen. NO battery life reading. Red battery use image with ? in upper right corner. Happy with purchace, would buy another.

This charger allows me to plug into my car to recharge camcorder batteries when I'm on the road. Unfortunately, the battery does not show charge remaining on my viewfinder.
