Comments about Bose QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones:
For years I used to press my earbuds into my ear while trying to hear a quiet segment of a movie I'd watch on the plane. Now with these Bose headsets, not only is my movie terrific to hear, but the rest of the trip with the noise canceling turned on is quiet! Terrific and comfortable.

Finally a noise-cancelling headphone that lets me go Ahhh... when I turn it on in the airplane. Perfect canceling, beautiful sound, what else can you ask for ?

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones:
I had issues with the sound of the air conditioner where I work and these headphones have efficiently reduced the noise! It's been only a week now but I already love them! Also I recieved them earlier than estimated (I live in Australia)I am not a sound expert, not even a music fan but I think the sound is OK. I use them for noise cancelling most of the time and not for listening to music.

Comments about Bose QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones:
Don't expect crystal sound, these headphones is a specialised gear.
As for me Bose is the only company who managed to turn theory of active noise cancellation into practice. With these headphones you can stay tete-a-tete with your music anytime, no-one around will distract you from audio-book, or phone call, or whatever goes-out of your source of sound.
Using Bose QuietComfort 3 for a month in different environments (crowdy squares, plane, bus/subway ...) maximum sound level I set up was 10 out of 15 on the phone (which is really weak source of sound) to get rid of background noise.
This is great stuff to use in NY or London subway, swiss trains etc. Unfortunately not so great in Budapest or Kiev underground.
Bose left some frequencies "non~cancellable" for wearer could hear car honk and other alerts, and unfortunately this range turns into whistle in Kiev or Budapest underground. That is the only reason my rating is not 5.
That would be great if Bose could make a possibility to update firmware or something like that to cut off really all the hearable range.
