The black GearPack-80 DL Backpack from Kata is a bit larger than the GearPack-60 version of this pack. However, it remains a compact, functional and ergonomically designed pack that holds more than its own against similar sized packs on the market. At its reasonable price point, this pack can accommodate your Pro DSLR system with a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached. In addition, it will store your 16-35mm f/2.8 zoom as well as a 100mm macro. For the videographer, you'll even have room for your compact camcorder. And, for accessories, even more room for your flash, memory cards, batteries, cables and personals.
The pack is made from Kata's tough Ripstop nylon and supported by comfortable, adjustable backpack straps. The back pad is padded for cool, comfortable portability. There's even a top carry handle for quick grab moments when you're rushing out the door or out of your car. The interior contains padded, fully adjustable yellow dividers that allow you to configure the guts to suit your gear needs on any given day.
Access to the pack is easy using the dual zippers that open the pack and expose the entire contents. Inside the front lid are organizer pockets for small items like media and business cards, cleaning cloths, phone, wallet, pens and cables. Your tripod can be readily mounted on the side using the included attachment straps. An additional side pocket is provided for a water bottle since a day's shooting can build up a thirst. An additional interior Utility Pocket can be easily attached to any of the interior dividers.
Kata's optional Modi-Vers Divider System can be employed to customize the pack even more. These dividers can be cut to size to truly configure the pack to your specific needs and hold your gear firmly in place. The pack is backed by Kata's five-year warranty.

Comments about Kata GearPack-80 DL Backpack (Black):
I use it mainly to keep my equipment and take it to jobs. And its a great bag for doing so, because it is big enough to fit my camera, 4-5 lenses and my speedlite, and some more little things like memory cards and filters. And it is considerably small.

Comments about Kata GearPack-80 DL Backpack (Black):
Smaller than I am used too, but fits the bill with extra pockets and such for extras my other bags were lacking. Smaller, means I wont cram in gear I don't need meaning lighter more appropriate load.
