The Pelican 1510SC Studio Case (Black) provides ample room for your travel needs with a durable, weather-proof design. The case features a durable hard plastic exterior that can stand up to the abuse of travel thanks to its crush-proof design. Additionally, its O-ring seal keeps out dust, dirt, and water so your items remain protected regardless of the weather conditions. Further, the case can even withstand submersion in water thanks it its IP67 rating (1 meter submersion for 30 minutes) without damaging your laptop, clothing, or other critical items thanks to the built-in automatic pressure equalization valve. The rugged polycarbonate shell is also designed to resist harmful chemicals as well as corrosion. The stainless steel hardware and padlock protectors are as durable as the rest of the case.
The 1510SC includes a set of padded dividers and a lid organizer. The foam dividers are easily adjustable for an easy way to customize the case to your needs. The LOC lid organizer optimizes the interior space by providing an easy way to make the most out of the space under the lid rather than having to stuff everything into the bottom section.

It's the perfect carryon. Other bags I own of a similar size are clumsy and don't hold near as much and this bag offers stress free, worry free gate-checks when boarding smaller aircraft.

I use the Pelican case to transport my laptop and photo gear as a carryon. In the past, I've had a soft camera bag, which has been crushed by larger bags stuffed into the overhead bins. People just don't care about anything but what they own. With this case, I won't have to worry about that. The only con I can mention is that it is very heavy. I need help lifting it into the overhead bin.

Using these in a high school video production setting so needed something sturdy but airline overhead approved. These cases absolutely fit the bill. We were able to fit 15" Macbook pro and charger, Sony NX70u (sideways only), shoe mount light, 3 sets of mics, batteries and chargers, media case, 100' XLR cable, and a digital SLR w/50mm lens attached.
On Top of fitting all of our equipment, the cases have dual external locks which are great when we travel and need to lock down our gear.
