The Hunter 25 DSLR Holster Bag from Ruggard is slightly larger than the Hunter 15 and holds your DSLR with lens attached, face down, in shooting position. When you're ready to shoot, simply remove your camera, get the shot and replace your camera in the bag. The zippered top of the bag opens away from your body for fast access to your gear. This also serves as a security feature since no one but you will be able to see inside the bag.

The bag has a water-repellent exterior and smooth polyester lining that helps prevent scratches to the finish of your camera/lens combo. Inside, there are two removable touch fastened strips that can be configured to support your gear.

For storage, there is a front zippered organizer panel, mesh side pocket and two side loops that accept optional pouches. On the inside of the quick-release flap, there are two touch fastened memory card pockets. The bag is carried by its removable shoulder strap, top carry handle or belt loop that will leave you hands free. The zippers have yellow pull tabs that make the bag easy to use while you're wearing gloves.

Now let me start by saying this is a great little bag. Dollar for dollar, I like the Tamrac holster bags better, but if you find yourself perusing the offerings from Ruggard, you could do a LOT worse than this little gem. I now have the Hunter 50 and this Hunter 25. Sorry, I have a lot of cameras, haha. But since all my cameras are medium to large DSLRs, size becomes a factor. This camera is best suited to a small to medium Nikon DSLR, like a D50 or a D40. A D100 or a D200 or a D700 is not going to make it.But size aside, this is a well-appointed bag, full of features. It will never be a shoulder bag, but there is ample room for cards and batteries. Your camera's body is supported by two velcro-adjustable sling straps, and aside from that, you are out of room for stuff. But its a HOLSTER bag after all. Wyatt Earp didn't stash his sunscreen in his holster, just his six-gun. So if you want to travel light, with little room left over for jostling, pick up this well made little bag for your small DSLR. If you have something bigger, reach for the Ruggard Hunter 50 or the Tamrac 515 holster bag. It offers less PROTECTION, but I like it's accommodations better for long lenses. You can't go wrong with either brand.

The camera I have fits in there snugly. Fuji FinePix HS50EXR. It does not, however, fit with the lens hood in place. It has a few small pockets that work well for the extra battery, charger, extra memory cards, but not the lens hood. I had to put that on the shoulder strap and replace it any time I want to use it by unhooking the strap and reattaching when done. Luckily the mechanism is sturdy and can take it!
Make sure you have the right dimensions, that's all.

This fits a mirrorless camera perfectly with plenty of space for extra batteries and cards, too. The top opens away from you so it's much easier to get to your camera which is very smart. It also feels pretty tough.

Not much room to store anything but a camera with a short lens attached, the front pocket doesn't provide too much room but it's a great compact carrier for the beginner photographer.

Comments about Ruggard Hunter 25 DSLR Holster Bag:

This came as part of a kit for the Fuji X-T1. The camera fits nicely into that bag, although with the 18-135 zoom lens there is not room for the lens hood, too. Not a lot of extra space for filters and other accessories, but still a good basic bag. Can't complain since it was part of a good deal.

This is a very well made bag. It holds a camera with the lens attached. It will be good to travel. Wish it were just a little larger to hold a second lens. Happy with the bag.

I received this bag with a Canon EOS Rebel and the camera doesn't fit with my zoom lens. I guess it would fit with the regular lens, but I use an 18mm-250mm lens and it won't fit. Bummer since it was free. Hate I can't use it.

I bought the case to go with a Lumix DMC-FZ70 camera and it's like the case was designed for it. Excellent amount of padding with still enough room for a few memory cards, filters, etc. Carrying it as a shoulder bag or as a holster type bag, the zippered top load design makes it really easy to use. Would highly recommend it as a very well made and designed bag for small cameras.

I actually got this for free when I bought a camera. If I was buying a camera bag, I probably wouldn't get one this size because all it can hold is the camera itself and maybe an extra battery and memory card. There is no room for filters or other accessories. Otherwise, it is a very durable and strong bag.

I find that after attaching the optional Battery Grip, you cant put the camera in the bag.

I got this bag for my xt1! Fits perfectly, great build quality. I've dropped this bagged with my camera inside from about 4 feet and it did its job!

Great bag too small really for the camera it fits but just barely. But good construction and sturdy.
