    Great for the price.

Comments about AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD Video Capture Card:

I've used two of these at the same time in one PC, I've captured through HDMI and through VGA (not at the same time since it can't), and I've captured from camcorders, PCs, Macs, and a PS4. Has worked very well. I think the only thing that I wish it did was record at 60fps in 1080p, but although it can accept the signal at that frame rate, it won't record nor stream at 60fps. I've only experienced audio/video sync issues when recording from the PS4, and happens mostly after the computer had been asleep, or it's been a while since the last time I used the card. I use OBS, but the same happens when using Avermedia's ReCenter. The fix is to disable and re enable the card from Device Manager (on Windows), and the audio gets synced again, that trick also fixed some weird color glitch it did once, that even restarting the computer did not fix. If you already own a powerful computer, buying a few of these and video mixing software can be far more cost efficient than buying a HD video mixer, and you may still have analog controls if you want them later, or you can also use a touchscreen. Beware of listings on a popular auction site that charge double or more of the price for this card, and will charge more for shipping since they come from Asia.

Comments about AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD Video Capture Card:

Decent card, and software seems pretty good (especially for the great price), although I find the video can be 'bursty' and does tend to drop frames. I also find that using HDMI the audio can be out of sync with the video, and it's better to use the separate 1/8" audio input instead of carrying audio over HDMI if possible.

Comments about AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD Video Capture Card:

This card is being used to capture video from a laptop through an hdmi source to edit security videos and also to capture video for PC training classes. The HD picture is flawless and smooth and the installation was simple. The software that comes with the card can be easily upgraded from the Avermedia site.

Comments about AVerMedia Game Broadcaster HD Video Capture Card:

I've been producing a half-hour, weekly web show for a year now and the Game Broadcaster HD was my first experiment in live camera capture and webcast. Well, my choice was well made because the card has served me perfectly for over forty webcastssince we started the show. So well, in fact, that I now have six cards in my inventory. My most recent live stream production included;o one PC running a live game demo;o one PC running vMix to feed a theater's big screen image, switching between that game demo PC and twenty+ on-board videos, and feeding;o an input, along with three live cameras into a live-streaming system also running vMix.The four Game Broadcaster HD cards in the live-streaming PC worked flawlessly, allowing me to easily switch between cameras and big-screen feed like a big, professional video switcher, including cross-fades, chroma-keys, and insets. And, yes, I've even live-streamed with just one card and the included streaming software.I've only used the 1080p HDMI input of the card. It comes with a breakout cable for VGA/component sources. Finally, the card has a separate 3.5mm audio jack with which to insert a separate audio source. I've not used this yet.
