The large black RainCoat RS (Rain Sleeve) from LensCoat delivers maximum protection to your camera and lens with a lightweight, breathable, waterproof, tape sealed material. This medium version of the sleeve is perfect for camera lens combinations up to 21" in length. The RainCoat RS offers protection from serious damage that can be caused by rain, snow, salt spray, dust, dirt and sand. The sleeve is easy to install and remove and offers easy and full access to both camera and lens. This version contains cinch straps that help adjust the length by folding the material over itself and holding it snug. One of the real benefits of this cover is the quiet material used in its construction that is designed not to disturb wildlife when you are using it. The muffled sound of the RainCoat RS greatly enhances your ability to get that special shot.
The camera is reached through the rear opening of the sleeve while lens controls are accessed via a hook and loop bottom closure. When not being used, store it in the included mesh storage pouch. The RainCoat RS is compatible with LensCoat's optional Lens Covers, Hoodie lens caps and camera BodyGuards. This version comes in a matte all-black finish to better blend in where desirable. Or, it can be used just for its protection value.
Note! Clean with water only; do not tumble dry or dry clean

Comments about LensCoat RainCoat RS (Rain Sleeve) (Large, Black):
I actually got this rain cover after sending back another much larger more complex but less functional model by another company. This sleeve is just that, a waterproof sleeve with drawstrings. It fits into a very compact bag and allows tripod use. It seems a bit steep to pay $ bucks for this but considering the price of your precious equipment that isn't necessarily water/weatherproof .. small price to pay.

Comments about LensCoat RainCoat RS (Rain Sleeve) (Large, Black):
Often the best photographs are to be found in bad weather, and I don't want to keep the camera in the bag if it is raining. Plastic garbage bags and a dry towel are o.k. in light rain or mist, but they are not totally effective, and they are not terrible convenient. The RainCoat can be left on the camera and lens the entire time, and taking photos with it on is relatively easy. Highly recommended, especially for non-sealed cameras like the H4D.

Comments about LensCoat RainCoat RS (Rain Sleeve) (Large, Black):
I own other rain covers but had problems with fogging up and aleigning the plastic windows with the camera's LCD & menu displays in the rain, inconvient when in a downpour. The RainCoat, because its open in the back, and can be closed in heavy rain, permits easy access to the camera (D3s)and fogging is not a problem because the RainCoat shields the back of the camera. I use the 70-200mm lens. This is not an everyday use product but very handy and folds up small in the bag or pocket.
