The Swann ADS-45 Indoor PrivateEye Hidden Video Camera is ideal for discreet video monitoring, especially in sensitive areas where people are not comfortable being watched. Though intended for daytime use, the camera can function even during night, provided the surveillance area is well-lit.
Despite having the looks of an ordinary PIR alarm sensor, the covert 1.3 MP camera can deliver clear pictures at 1280 x 1024 resolution and videos up to 30 frames per second. A built-in microphone can capture sound up to a maximum distance of 9’ (3 m).
Trigger interval delays can be defined for recording or the camera can also be set to record only when motion is detected. A built-in slot in the camera can accommodate SD cards up to 32 GB for storing still images and video footage (card not included). For every 1 GB of space, you can store over 2,000 pictures or 1 hour of video or a combination thereof in proportion.
The indoor camera runs on 4 AA batteries and you can place it anywhere on a wall or ceiling, without running wires or needing a power output close by. With minimum installation and zero setup, the camera is a true plug and play unit.
