The TRENDnet Megapixel Day/Night Indoor Wireless Camera captures real-time high-quality videos that can be remotely accessed via the Internet. Its 1/4" CMOS sensor delivers high-quality images at a resolution up to 1280 x 800.
Designed for Day/Night surveillance, the camera produces clear images even in locations with a minimum illumination of 0 lux at f/1.5. It also delivers clear and bright images up to 24.60’ (7.5 m) in darkness. The latest H.264 compression technology used by this camera allows you to efficiently utilize your network, even with the highest-quality video.
On detecting any motion in the vicinity, the camera generates alarm triggers via e-mail and uploads the video or images straight to an FTP server. The recorded footage can be stored on a microSD card, which can later be viewed on your smartphone or on the Samba network drive. The built-in microphone lets you communicate with visitors or potential intruders.
The camera connects to your Wifi network via high speed 802.11b/g/n wireless protocols. Easy to install, this camera can be set up in a jiffy. Depending on your needs, you can mount the camera on a wall or ceiling using the included hardware.

Comments about Trendnet Megapixel Day/Night Indoor Wireless Camera:
I planned to use one camera for home security and one for a baby monitor. The camera was difficult to set up. It used too much LAN resources. The audio sounded like an AM radio with static. The camera repeatedly lost connection with the LAN. Night image was ok. Day image was quite good. The camera may have been defective based on the high number of disconnects even when within a few feet of the router.

Comments about Trendnet Megapixel Day/Night Indoor Wireless Camera:
I got this to replace an old Linkys camera. The image quality is great, basic setup was very simple. However, there are two drawbacks related to poor documentation and one design flaw you should be aware of.1) I couldn't figure out how to access the RTSP stream directly. Three calls to India and I got the answer: rtsp://{IP ADDRESS}:{PORT}/play2.sdp where play2.sdp can be changed in the settings. I also learned that Windows Media player doesn't support RTSP -- just Real Player.2) I couldn't get the iPhone app to work. There are about 3 TrendNet apps in the iTunes store. This camera only works w/ the TrendNet Secure View app. Not the others.3) In terms of a design flaw, this camera has a manual focus ring that is super sensitive. If you even look at it, the ring loosens and your megapixel image is blurry. If you "set it and forget" and leave it in a place where it can't be disturbed, no problems. But if you have little kids like me who like to touch things, it gets out of focus way too easily. I may fix this with a little piece of tape on the focus ring.4) Oh yeah, another one... The audio quality isn't great.

Comments about Trendnet Megapixel Day/Night Indoor Wireless Camera:
I mounted this in a small bedroom above a crib to watch our grandson while he sleeps. Since it is my first security cam it took me a while to get used to it, but I like the product. Night vision is not super high resolution but it's definitely discernable at a distance of 7 feet. Motion recording to the (not included) SD memory card works fine. Haven't tried to email snapshots or videos yet, but everything else has worked so that should too. I notice that accessing it uses most of the resources on my 2.4 Ghz Intel processor running Windows XP, but I can still browse and do other tasks, they are just a bit slower than normal. Haven't got Secureview pro to work yet, maybe that will help.
Overall, a good learning experience for me and a successful purchase. B&H service is a great place to buy!
