The Defender Phoenix 301 Digital Wireless Security System (7" Monitor & Camera) is an excellent out-of-the-box solution for monitoring your business or home. It comes complete with a long range night vision outdoor camera, a 7" LCD monitor with 2 GB SD memory card, and all the necessary cables, mounts, and power supplies required for installation. Thanks to digital wireless technology, you can watch interference-free videos wirelessly up to 450’ (137.1 m) away. In addition, plug-n-play connectivity between the camera and the monitor ensures minimal setup time.

With a 1/4” CMOS sensor, the included camera can record clear and crisp videos up to 360 TVL. The camera can be used to monitor areas up to 40' (12.2 m) in the absence of light, making it suitable for round-the-clock surveillance. The camera features 18 IR LEDs that activate automatically when the ambient light drops below a certain level. It's professional grade aluminum housing features a sunshield, making the camera suitable for outdoor applications as well.

The recorded footage can be viewed on the included 7" monitor that features a built-in SD memory card slot. You can either set the wireless monitor to record continuously, at scheduled intervals, or only when motion is detected. Plus, it also sounds an audible alert if motion is detected. Scheduled recording mode allows you to set up a 24-hour recording schedule, so you don’t miss any event when you’re away. With MPEG-4 compression, the video file size is smaller, so hours of footage can be stored, without compromising on video quality. Controlling the monitor is simple via the front panel buttons or the included IR remote. It allows you to watch live feed or review previously recorded footage on a larger screen by directly connecting the monitor to a television via the AV cable provided.
