With 5000 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 3000:1 the XGA-resolution Epson PowerLite 1960 Multimedia Projector has the projection power to present large images in venues where ambient light would be a problem for lesser projectors. The horizontal keystone correction slider bar makes it easy to create a perfectly rectangular image no matter where you place the projector. Because of the 1.6x optical zoom, larger images can be displayed from shorter distances, saving valuable space in the classroom or boardroom.
However, it's a gentle giant that works and plays well with others. It's got an international 100 to 240 V AC 50/60Hz power supply and it can handle NTSC, PAL and SECAM TV signals. The 1960 is also PC friendly. You can plug your PC into the 1960's USB type B port and play both video and audio through the projector. All of those signals benefit from the bright and high contrast Epson 3LCD projector panel. 3LCD delivers clear and vibrant images so true to life you may not believe your eyes.
With direct power-on, you can set the 1960 to turn it on as soon as it's plugged into the wall socket. And with Epson's instant-off technology there is no cool down period. As soon as you turn the projector off you can pack it into its included carrying case and move on.

Comments about Epson PowerLite 1960 Multimedia Projector:
Purchased for use in a conference setting for ~400 attendees on 9x12 screens. In a medium lit room the colors and detail show through perfectly. Combine that with it's small footprint, quick corner fine tuning, available image adjustments (including split screen matching), and quick power cycle recovery time; this is absolutely one of the best projectors I've seen for the price.

This projector is easy to use and set-up and light enough to be used for business meetings and events away from the office. It is very quiet and has excellent picture quality.
