I installed 2 of these babies as an upgrade from 8M to 16M on a Sony VAIO Quadcore, 16M RAM with an Nvidia Card. They were recognized right away. Although I could fit and lock them in the slots, they do not fit 100% but they fit and they can be locked in place without an issue. I assume it's hard to fit every manufacturer memory slots. Overall they locked in place and they work which is all that count.

Comments about Crucial CT102464BF160B 8GB 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800 Memory Module:
Installed the modules to replace the original 8gb from my Sony VAIO L Series 24" Multi-Touch All-in-One Desktop Computer. The price is really competitive and Crucial is a reliable manufacturer so I was confident about the memory reliability. The memory modules do not smoothly fit the memory slots of my VAIO but they still lock properly so it's all that counts. The memory modules came in a transparent hard plastic box with no protective antistatic wrapping to protect them which was a bit odd to me. I guess that's the new rule in packaging today. Despite everything I mentioned above, it's a great and very reliable product.

I bought this along with a new Mac Mini base model. At this price, I may as well buy the most RAM I can now. Two of these gave me the limit of my Mac Mini. 16GB.
No problems after two weeks.

Whenever I need to upgrade RAM, I simply go to the Crucial site and used their "Crucial System Scanner" tool to automatically detect what type of RAM I need and how much my computer will accept. Then I come to B&H for great service and prices, get the chips and they work great.

Purchased an ASUS UX32VD-DB71 Zenbook 13.3 Ultrabook Computer which came with 4GB RAM somewhat limiting the laptop's performance. By adding the 8GB Crucial SODIMM it has increased the performance of the Ultrabook. Been running for 2 weeks with no issues at all.
This is the best value upgrade anyone can do!

I purchased an ASUS recently that I could boost up to 16 gigs, and to my immediate attention, I knew that I needed all the power that the ASUS laptop could offer me, and thus, the 8 gig crucial ram bar was the first thing that I knew I needed.
Crucial is a great company to trust as they have never failed me thus far. I bought two 8 gigs ram bars and my asus now is a power house.

Everybody knows not to customize their Mac straight from Apple so it should be no surprise that i'm positively reviewing this memory. I stuck two 8gb sticks into my new 2012 MBP and it works fine. 3 weeks in and no issues.
