Comments about Sony EVI / BRC Camera CP-ITV4-S Control Panel by Telemetrics:

This control panel is intuitive and simple to use. It is an upgrade from a similar model we used in an old location. The zoom function built into the PTZ joystick is a nice impovement.

This control seems very durable, offers great control finesse and options but is ugly and expensive. Then again, where else are you going to go for a controller?

Comments about Sony EVI / BRC Camera CP-ITV4-S Control Panel by Telemetrics:

This camera controller does what it is supposed to do. My only complaint is that the pan/tilt/zoom controls are not as precise as they should be on a product in this price range. It is very frustrating when you can't get the camera positioned as precisely as you want. Sometimes you can't hit that exact spot you want.

Comments about Sony EVI / BRC Camera CP-ITV4-S Control Panel by Telemetrics:

Wanted to use it for live, single EVI D70 camera at 30ft zoomed to a 6sqft frame, recording of service. The 4-S is an upgrade from the 3, but the new proportional joystick during zoom was only sped up, not slowed down. You can't pan and tilt at slow enough speeds when "zoomed in" to get nice smooth tracking even at the slowest setting. I need a controller that will mimic (slow)human control. This one will not. The deflection during zoom is too sensitive. 15ft or less is where I'm going to need to position my camera to get the speed I want for my ideal frame. Not suited for my venue. Telemetrics responded to my inquiries but did not understand "I need a "creeping" pan and tilt speed when zoomed". So after more money for the "upgraded" version....same issue. Will be selling this one when I find one better suited.
