The Swann PRO-780 Ultimate Optical Zoom Day/Night Camera, with a 1/3” Sony Effo CCD high-resolution video sensor and 23 to 81° angle lens, delivers clear and crisp footage at 700 TVL with a wide viewing angle.
If lighting levels are insufficient the camera will automatically activate its 36 IR LEDs (effective up to 131' / 40 m) while switching from color to a more sensitive B&W video mode, ensuring accurate color reproduction in daylight and enhanced B&W images at night. Wide Dynamic Range technology compensates for commonly faced issues such as high-contrast light, back light, glare, and light-reflective environments by adjusting the light and restoring detail to deliver identifiable images.
The OSD (On-Screen) Controller allows you to manually zoom (up to 4x) and focus the camera. In addition, the OSD controller also allows you to customize camera settings such as brightness, sharpness, contrast, wide dynamic range, etc.
The PRO-780 Day/Night Camera can be connected to a DVR for recording and storing or to a TV’s yellow video-in socket for remotely monitoring footage. Easy to mount onto a wall, the camera also has cables threaded through a bracket for additional security. It is easy to install and suitable for use in professional surveillance applications such as banks, parking lots, airports, etc.
Deterrent stickers warn intruders and thieves that your property is protected by the PRO-780 Camera. Also included is a 60' (18m) BNC cable (for connecting to a DVR), BNC to RCA connector (for connecting to a TV), and power adaptor and splitter.
With its solid aluminum IP67-rated weatherproof construction, the camera is an ideal solution for round the clock outdoor as well as indoor surveillance.

Comments about Swann PRO-780 Ultimate Optical Zoom Day/Night Camera:
i bought this to go along with my other swann 530 cameras... i thought this was going to be a huge difference between the 530 and 780 (600tvl vs 700 tvl) not a big difference at all... i mean this is a good camera but for the money id much rather bought 2 more 530s for LESS money than this one. it zooms and changes its viewing angle but it is completely manual! you have to remove the adjustment caps off the back of the camera and then adjust and re focus it! kind of a pain since the monitor is 50' away you cant tell what you are doing you will need another person to help... i thought the remote would have zoom on it but i was wrong! i should have researched it more but there is not a lot of info on this camera online i wish i would have just bought 2 more 530 those are just as good as this one....
all of the swann wired cameras i have are a little noisy meaning the dvr always records and motion sensing doesn't work! i called swann and they said it was my problem im getting interference on a wired camera? i have new cameras and new dvr i dont get it? be aware
nothing against B&h, B&H is a great company! i will be a repeat customer!

Comments about Swann PRO-780 Ultimate Optical Zoom Day/Night Camera:
While it still works even being so dirty it is not reliable to get a camera like that. There is a visible dust inside and the lens has a hair right across (maybe it's scratched, hard to say). The video doesn't look too sharp. It is acceptable, but I cannot say I'm very happy with it, and I'd say it's below average. It took a very long time to get this camera, but this is a downside of a free delivery. In general, I'd better go to a local store and get a camera just for a few more bucks at a speed of my car and ability to exchange or even return it. Doesn't worth it.

Comments about Swann PRO-780 Ultimate Optical Zoom Day/Night Camera:
I have 5 Swann Cameras out of the eight I am running. This is the second Pro 780 that I have. The night vision is so superior over my 630's. It is much brighter more like day light. It is the same as the 630 only much improved night vision.
I am making this my number one camera if I should need another. I definitely recommend this camera

day and night surveillance of yard and street. Actually can see things under the night vision unlike the 500 and 600 series cameras.
