Rotolight's Barndoors for Anova LED Floodlight are an ideal way to control the 110 degree beam output of this bi-color LED fixture. The lightweight metal 6 leaf set, which matches the hexagonal design of the Anova, folds flat against the fixture for easy storage.

Comments about Rotolight Barndoors for Anova LED Floodlight:

Maybe they didn't decide to do barndoors until after the light was designed, built and in production. Or maybe something that ridiculous. Because you would never design a barndoor that would not let you tilt down, right? Yep - that's it - maybe 15-20 degrees and bang, the barndoor runs into the yoke. So do I forgo the doors? No - with 110 degree spread you need some control and if you want quick and light Cstands and flags need to be at a minimum. The solution seems to be mounting the yoke on a 45 degree angle, then there is plenty of tilt range. Short arm with a bag on the back, pin in a grip head or a magic finger - multiple top-of-stand possibilities. I ended up making a 3-4" reverse offset arm, a stud pointed back in roughly a 45 degree angle over the top of the TVMP so that the weight of the light/battery is more over the stand. I felt really silly having to do that though after spending way too many thousand of dollars. At the very least they should admit to the issue and sell a solution.
Another thing - if even a few of the doors were steel you could attach stuff like reflectors, barndoor extenders, diffusers etc. with magnets, magnet tape because the light does not get hot!

Comments about Rotolight Barndoors for Anova LED Floodlight:

Really need this with the ANOVA! I bought the ANOVA Flight Case Kit. The ANOVA has a fantastic wide beam but sometimes you need to cut the coverage and these well designed Barndoors work very well. I've heard there's a Portabrace rain cover that fits round the ANOVA with Barn doors on! i'll be looking out for that
