Datacolor's SpyderCheckr Pro/Cube Bundle is a valuable bundle containing a SpyderCheckr and SpyderCube. The SpyderCheckr allows photographers to color calibrate a camera, perform precision in-camera white balance and record known-color samples. The sturdy, eco-friendly design has 48 spectrally engineered color patches and calibration software that's easy to use.
SpyderCube is a RAW calibration tool that easily fits into a pocket, and outperforms white balance and gray card solutions. The 3D cube is an ideal way to capture color temperature and light source data on-site for accurate RAW adjustments and more consistent color.
Used together, these two tools let you achieve consistent color from day to day and camera to camera and apply these results in your RAW workflow. This in turn can streamline post-production by affording predictable color in the beginning of the capturing process.

I shoot college classes & print composite's with as many as 175 students on one composite. I always seem to have a few student's (mostly with blond hair) that I struggle to get the color dead on. I mostly use medium gray backdrop cloths & will have a very small precent with a slight color shift in batch processing. Purchased the SpyderCheckr/Cube for better consistency. Just finished my 1st shoot with it & I am very happy that I made the purchase. The color profile with SpyderCheckr is subtle & accurate. It has really helped to tighten up my work flow & made life much easier printing blond hair accurately. I used the cube for the 1st time on this shoot & my gray backgrounds were all consistent. I am very happy with the product.

After several attempts to use the product (which did not come with well written guidelines, only go to the website and read the "how-to" there.) I was highly disappointed. Once I did get a decent reading from the product I found it was not much different personal presets I already had in Lightroom. It has received much praise from multiple photog mags so I was hoping it would be of benefit to me as I my photography has me shooting in so many multiple conditions that change rapidly, I need consistency. Maybe I just didn't have it figured out well enough, but it became such a hassle to try to work with I sent it back.

It is very important to have your monitor calibrated to obtain a more accurate result in their work.

Love everything about this color matching system except for the lack of documentation for use with Photoshop. All of the videos and documentation for this product is written and produced for Lightroom which is not part of CS6 Master Collection. I don't want to buy Lightroom just for setting up calibrations.
