Built for everyday photography, this bag features a hard 600D Oxford Nylon exterior that is water-repellant and a side flap that allows you to easily access your DSLR from the main compartment. You can do so without removing the bag from your shoulder. While you can access the DSLR from the side flap, the main compartment of the bag is designed to rest against your back for protection against theft.

When you need to access the bag, the main compartment opens and closes with a zipper and has five padded, adjustable interior dividers. Smaller personal or photo items can be stored in the top compartment at the front, as well as in the front pouch, which has an internal organizer. A compact or travel tripod can be placed in the tripod holder. The holder itself features a set of attachment straps and two pockets.

Tucked into the back padding is a waist strap for better support carrying the sling bag, and a rain cover that can be detached if you need to dry it out. The sling strap on the Triumph is padded and features an adjustable quick-release buckle. The bag can be carried using the sling strap and lifted using the top or side grip handles.

I use this bag to store my whole micro 4/3 kit.
Shown are 8 lenses, 3 flashes, wireless and timer remote, spare batteries for everything, surui tripod, various other things and an OMD EM5. There is easily room for another body or two and more lenses! The clip equipped shoulder-strap is better than expected, the clip makes it easy to strap on. I think it could be improved by making the top strap longer and the bottom strap shorter as the buckle is very close to my clavicle. This downgrades the comfort for me. (I am 6'3" tall) This isn't the perfect bag for me but it sure holds all my gear and keeps it protected and in one place. If you are like most photographers, you will own more than one bag. This one I've found to be a useful addition to my collection.

    This is a good value!

Will pack all my m43 gear, EM1 with 12-40 lens, EM5 body,2 chargers and flash, and 4 lenses all in the main compartment. The bag is well made and padded. There is lots of room. The camera side entrance with the double zipper with handle is very clever. The main opening is towards your back, good for security. It is divided into 6 spaces with velcro attachments. There are 2 handles for carrying plus the adjustable sling. The lower back accessory pouch is well divided. The tripod area can take an umbarella or a water bottle. A rain cover and special storage space are included.
    Negatives.
I don't find the pack particularly comfortable. The right lower cross strap when used is short. I am 5'8 and 170lb and it is fully extended. The camera in the camera pocket has 2 or 3 inches above and no partition or anything to keep it from sliding upwards. When put in the pocket so you can open the quick access side pocket the grip is to the right. When you then open the case from the main back, the camera is upside down and can slide down on its top! When the case is on your back the camera will be on its side with the grip down so it should be ok. Can you follow that? A velcro pad across the lens area would give another storage spot above it and keep the camera more secure. The separate top storage space is roomy for a lunch, spare body, or ?rain gear. There are only 2 small storage spots in it and they are at the back from the opening making them very hard to get to if you are using the space. There is nothing on the back of the opening flap which would be very convenient for small storage. The short cross strap is difficult to get into its storage space. There is a small storage space on the sling strap with a zipper opening which might be useful but the opening is so tight it is about useless. A velcro flap over an elastic opening would be better IMO. I also think a quick release strap, with its own storage spot, across the back to hold it on rolling luggage would be nice.
I am going to keep the bag as everything I need to carry fits in it including a small flash, 3 batteries, and 2 chargers without using the top compartment for camera gear.

    Not a bad bag

Very nice construction. Very durable. Like the built in rain cover since I use mine when hunting. The only thing I dont like is even though you can pull your lens and camera out from the side its difficult if you have your sun shade on. I also wish it had more straps and hooks on the outside like other bags. This way if you have any extra gear like a video tripod or fluid head you could simple strap them on the out side.

I have a Nikon 5100 and 2nd body with a couple lenses. This bag is perfect. Everything fits with room to expand. I can have either my telephoto lens or prime on and they both fit. Perfect to carry around for shoots because its a sling and you don't have to take it off to get your camera out.

Pretty good pack, but I should have stayed with
the next size up. I changed my mind at the last minute and I wish didn't.
Buying a backpack is difficult, so many choices and unless you get put your hands on all of them, It's a guess.
Let's face it, there is not one pack for all situations. This unit works good.
The padding is good and I think it will hold up under heavey use.
Forget putting a tripod on it though.

Comments about Ruggard Triumph 35 Sling Bag:

I was looking for something to carry my camera equipment when I go to my children's sporting events. Key issues for me were the overall size of the bag and the ability to protect my equipment. This bag has delivered on both for me. The bag is well made and well padded but is still fairly compact and lightweight. I have not used the tripod pocket or the rain cover so I can not speak to either of those items. I like the variety of areas/pockets available for storage. While the main compartment is designed to allow you to have easy access to a camera with a smaller lens already mounted to it. I have found that I can use this area (by rearranging the sections) to store a camera body, 150-500 zoom and a 70-300 zoom.

I love this bag - we tried several to get the size and capacity we wanted but we have settled and are 100% satisfied. We are taking this for our trip in Europe as a travel bag for my husband's tablet and our smaller camera. Yet it can easily convert bag to a full camera bag for later use.

I really like this bag. It fits comfortably works really well. I use it when bike riding (mostly paved trails; not sure I would take this mountain biking) as well as just walking around.I do have 2 minor complaints. The first is that the bag access panel on the back I would prefer it if it would open a little further. Probably so that one can fold it over and have just open access. The second is that its a little snug when I slide it down to pull out my camera. This makes it a little cumbersome to pull out my camera. That's just a personal thing; other's mileage may vary.

Comments about Ruggard Triumph 35 Sling Bag:

Other than the apparent good lucks of this bag, the first thing that I realized after strapping it on was how comfortable it was.

I've worn a sling by another manufacturer for a few years now. It served its purpose, but now that I purchased an OM-D E-M1, I needed something more protective and adaptable to my changing needs.

In the few times that I have worn this bag, it has worked like a charm. Good weather, bad weather, small amount of gear or a large amount of gear, this bag is flexible and adaptable. Just what I was hoping for.

My pet peeves, are that I think there is space for an additional pocket or two on the exterior. I also believe that with a slight modification, there would be ample space for a small tablet to properly fit.

My equipment collection for photography had outgrown the original carrying case and I needed something that was more functional on hikes as well as day to day use. This worked very well. I took it on short walks and some mile long hikes. It kept me much better balanced and made it very easy to have all my gear accessible quickly. I felt my equipment was very protected and it didn't seem to move around at all. I was even able to use the compact tripod space as a water bottle holder. I guess the only thing I'd like to see is an easier way to modify it for a full length tripod and a little bit more weight distribution but certainly don't disregard it because of those.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I already have a full size back pack and wanted something a little smaller that is able to hold the essentials I needed on a daily basis. Not only was this bag perfect but it exceeds my expectations. There is easy access for the main storage area as well as side access for the camera with the lens attached plus there is additional space for another camera. Then there are more compartments for extra equipment. There is also a build in rain cover. Finally, it's a slingback which is more convenient and comfortable. I love it!

Comments about Ruggard Triumph 35 Sling Bag:

I had already another backpack for photography, and it is very spacious, but as a backpack getting your camera and lenses out and back in was a bit time consuming. The Ruggard is very practical for going photoshooting, you don't have to hang your camera around your neck all the time, and still have quick access to it if you need it fast. Also the sling bag has a lot of space that can fit another camera or any other items (a sandwich and an apple would always come in handy and can fit easily).

I really like the Ruggard 35 so far, good build!

I needed a bag that I could use when I take my kids to Disney and other theme parks. This bag holds all my gear and then some. The rain cover is a plus and shows how much detail went into the design.

This is great for my growing photography equipment. I always have to carry around my small bag where my lenses would be so tight closed in together, and as of recent my new speed light that was taking way too much room. Plus I love the second compartment where I can easily put my camera away on the front of the bag. When I was running for a train it didn't slip, or shift all around the place. Also, great way to carry my tripod.

Comments about Ruggard Triumph 35 Sling Bag:

I was undecided in which Ruggard Triumph series bag to get . So it came down between the 35 or 45 series . Without being able to see them in person it was a hard decision . The only thing I could tell is the 45 had extra room for a camera grip . Also extra room for a larger zoom lens . I went for the 35 thinking it would be a little smaller & lighter in weight . When I finally received my bag I was extremely happy with my purchase . It fits my gear perfectly . The design of the bag is a really nice & well thought out . You have a access door on the side for quickly getting to your camera . Everything seems to be placed well & in reach . My only compliant is the small bottom strap is a little short on adjustment . But I can't seeing on using it that much a daily basis . Beside that this fits my needs all around .

Comments about Ruggard Triumph 35 Sling Bag:
