This camera is a great modern day Polaroid. Having incorporated with digital media technology, you now have an option to choose which photos to print. Saving money and the environment!
This is obviously not the best digital camera around for the price as many reviews may critique. However, keep in mind the main focus of this camera is the ability to print on the go! While it lacks bells and whistles of other digital cameras, it comes equipped with enough essential functions for a hobbyist/minimalist to use it as a everyday camera.
Software-wise there are also many reviews frowning upon this camera's out of date system. Aside from being unable to compete with common digital camera software, others complain that the pre-loaded frames for printing are lame and look prehistoric.
Personally, I adore them! It is a Polaroid after all. Yes, it will not spit out the most glamorous prints but I feel like this is all a part of the Polaroid experience. It began a toy camera and made its fame. So why should not the tradition carry on after a few necessary upgrades? For those seeking quality prints, there always exists the option of taking your sd card to a proper print shop later on.
Despite all that, I do have one complaint about the software. The preview button is in essence the same as the print button. But the options offered by the two are mismatching, and slightly confusing. It takes a little time to get used to, and is hence not a major fault to turn me off from the purchase.
This camera also does not have auto-focus, and has both positive and negative side effects. It shortens the time to take a photo after the fat red button is pushed, as well as adding another trait found on non digital Polaroid cameras. The downside of course is the risk of missing a moment with a blurry capture.
Speaking of blurry, since there is no optical zoom on this phone camera lens, you may wish to use the 6x digital zoom wisely.
The hardware is sturdily built. It is the size of traditional film cameras before digital cameras conquered the market. A little clumpy in order to accommodate the paper tray, but also adds to the vintage style. Which in turn, is a plus for me.
A trade off with the new zero ink print paper is that you are required to run the blue bar code paper (comes with zink paper purchase) through your printer every 5-10 prints for calibration purposes. Not too bad taking into consideration that you are saving the environment with minimal ink usage.
Have not yet a chance to try the video mode. But is a bonus feature for the money to begin with. All in all a very pleasant package. Recommended to old school Polaroid enthusiasts looking for a modern touch, all young people who missed the Polaroid age, and any shutterbug who seeks instant printing!

I gave the fun level of this camera a 5. When I bought this camera, I read all the honest reviews about its poor image quality. However, I had great fun with it. I had enjoyed making picture stickers of my newborn. Now I used it as an alternative label printer. I am an toy collector and text-base lebal is not good enough for me. With this camera I can make picture stickers that shows the content of each sorting box, that experience was very satisfying and awesome.

I got this as I am always on the go. I love the built in kitschy effects which actually has come in hand multiple times. You can easily print multiple copies and the effects are a nice option to have at hand for simple artistic fun.
My favorite thing is that I can take pictures on another camera and just pop in the memory card into this Polaroid and BOOM! Now I have the ability to preview, add effects if I want and print. Portable printing studio ;)
When I go on trips I constantly meet new people and it is nice to be able to keep digital files of everything and print out copies. Nothing like having the picture in your hand and it being a sticker is the cherry on top :)
Negatives are mainly the latch is very easy to hit to open the door to the printer paper other than that the delay on focusing and taking the picture, but even using this at times as just a preview and print machine I am one happy customer.

I use it as secondary fun camera. I own dslr already. It is great when you are with friends or visit some one. This is cheap equipment, so do not expect great results. This is price you pay for great fun using it! Be careful with macro focus button, if it is accidentaly on, pics are really bad (out of focus).

What I love about this camera that it's relativly big in size, kinda like the cell phones
From the 80s, it is very basic, and the fact you can take a pic and print on the spot is super.... Specially if you are surrounded by kids...
The camera has many problems, such as: the metal ring around the lens fell before I even started to use it ( I love imperfections, so I don't care, but if you concider the price paid, it's not soo cool it's falling apart so fast ). a day later the rainbow Polaroid sticker started peeling off, I added a bit of tape on the edge to prevent it from disappearing... Trying to use the zoom in and zoon out buttons, didn't really function, I found myself pressing very hard to get it to zoom and it wouldn't go back, so I had to shut the camera on and off.... And all this has happened in less then a week of owning this new item... Also the battery dies very fast, so I highly recommend to get an extra one ( I didn't get, because the store did not have them in stock )...
with all the cosmetic and some mechanic problems that this camera has, I love it's simplicity, the random light reading , and the surprises make for very interesting pictures... I have tried using the flash, I hated it, and since then I only use available lighting, even low light somas out super...
I have been shooting also video, i have not yet transfers it to a big screen, but while shooting it seems very old school, like an old high 8 camera, very cool....
So if you are into low tec, and things that fall apart but still are super cool, this is a camera for you...

I bought this camera just in time for my birthday bash and, overall, it increased the night's fun by the 2nd power! The picture quality was above my expectations and my only complaint is; if it so happens a drink or any other object bumps the picture while it is printing it will cause some smearage or an inconvenient black spot or two. I recommend it for anyone susceptible to mysterious blackouts.

So I really wanted this because my aunt is a major polaroid fan and still uses all the old ones. I was scared that if I bought this I wouldn't like the feel since I heard it had a cheap feeling plastic to it but when I received the camera I was pleased to find the quality of the plastic was more durable. The Polaroids are best with the premium paper but overall I love this camera and would buy again
