Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

The ONA Brixton is not only a smart and trendy looking bag, it is strong and easy to use. Based on my new mirrorless gear (Sony a7R) and two lenses and flash, it also holds batteries and small important items without being or looking bulky. This bag is very comfortable. The shoulder strap is not incredibly soft but this bag isn't make to hold two DSLR bodies and 3-4 heavy lenses. It's for the pro who has learned to work smarter. It has what ONA calls a "Grab Handle," which should be removed. Many other reviews have complained that it comes apart but it's not made to hold the bag and only to pull it if necessary. Hey ONA, remove this silly handle! Wonderful bag. Great quality that would most likely last MANY years!

It's absolutely stunning and much prettier than other non-camera bags. Fits comfortable an MBP Retina 15" with a small camera (M6 / FM3A) and plenty of other stuff (wallet, extra lens, a water bottle, etc). Highly recommended.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

I use the Ona Brixton as my on-the -go bag when I am at events or weddings and need something that is easy to access and can carry my essentials without lugging me down with rucksacks that take time to open or kit suitcases that are impractical to carry around crowded rooms.
The Brixton is beautifully made from thick, soft leather, with a robust strap and offers a surprising amount of room inside that can be adapted to carry more kit or create more space as per your needs. The back dividers and front and side pouches offer even more space for stuff like cards, wallets, batteries, filters, pens, laptops and iPads.
The only thing I would say missing from this lovingly crafted and stylish bag are a few smaller pouches for smaller pieces like memory cards, as these tend to get lost in the deep front pouches in the moments when you need to change those kinds of items quicky. Otherwise, this is a heartily recommended bag.

I've looked for the perfect bag to haul my X100S and my MacBook Pro Retina 13" and the ONA Brixton was it. It looks great and holds my camera and laptop plus accessories very comfortably and neatly.
I use it daily as I keep my camera on me all the time. I wish I had the money to buy the leather but the canvas looks awesome too.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

I went to NY City last weekend and took my new ONA Brixton with me. I was carrying on it a Nikon D800, Nikon 28-70 f/2.8D, Nikon 85 f/1.4G, Nikon 50 f/1.4G, & SB-900 flash. Also added 2 ND filters and cleaning kit (blower, and lenspen) + sunglasses case. The bag is the perfect size for walking around the city. Very nice looking too. I really like this bag and will consider other ONA bags in the future. The only cons is the padding of the shoulder strap that is really lacking some. Also, the handle strap does not look strong enough to be use it all the time.

Things I like - the waxed canvas exterior, leather accents, build quality, organization inside, the fact that it doesn't look like a camera bag. I'd buy this bag again and recommend it to everyone. The price is high compared to others, but definitely worth it when I'm protecting over [$] in camera gear.

This is the most amazing camera bag I've ever seen. Functional and with the perfect size for two DSLRs with lenses (just what I want). But most of all I like for its beauty. It looks incredible and doesn't look like a camera bag which is amazing.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

It definitely is a nice looking bag and there seems to be good enough space on the inside so far. I haven't tried putting a smaller laptop in there yet. The leather part of the strap may need to be broken in more, but when resting as a messenger bag (across the chest), it hurts my collar bone. The bag does get a bit heavy too. I'm sure it's really intended for men, but I wanted something not so feminine looking like a purse.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Field Tan):

Just got back from a week travelling in Puglia with this bag--it held my 5D Mk II with a 24-105 lens and hood, a 17-40, a 50mm 1.2, and a 580 EX II flash. It also held a couple of batteries and a polarizer in one of the front pockets and an iPad in the the back, along with passport and tickets. Was it snug? Yes. Next time I'd probably leave the 50mm home. I only used it once. Look elsewhere if you carry around a 70-200 or larger lens. On the other hand, the bag was about as big as I wanted, was manageable walking through hill towns, and exactly fit my needs, i.e. allowed me to carry a body, a few medium lenses and a flash along with reading material, passport, tix, and a small notebook. This isn't a storage or hike with all your gear bag. It's for walking around with a discrete selection of stuff. The bag did take a fair amount of scuffing, but that only adds to its appeal, in my view. It doesn't scream CAMERA BAG. I don't think it's waterproof, although there are some nice flaps sewn into the cover so when the cover closes your gear is completely covered. On the other hand I don't shoot in downpours. Similarly, it's padded, but not so padded it woud protect your gear if thrown from a second floor hotel window. Given that Alitalia lost my bike on the same trip, I'm glad I kept this bag right next to me the entire time. I haven't made many accessory purchases that I enjoyed so thoroughly as this one. A bit on the pricey side, but for my money, worth it. I may never use my messenger bag again. It's too easy to carry what I need in this bag with my camera as well. My single complaint is that the cover straps don't really buckle--they quick release. It's a convenient feature, but I can imagine times when I really want the buckles to strap things closed in a way that would make it a time-consuming pain for someone to try to get inside.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

How many camera bags have you bought already? And you want another one?
There is no such thing as the perfect camera bag, I've lost count how many I've owned, Domke, Lowepro, Thinktank, Crumpler, Tenba, Billingham, Kata... you name it I've owned it.
The problem with cameras bags is the bigger the bag the more your expands to fill it. You see a hole in you bag so you go and buy some gadget to fill the hole and before you know it you have 50pounds on your shoulder and a bad back.
I bought this bag to ensure I only carry what I need for everyday use, a body a couple of lenses, laptop, cables etc. I also want a bag that doesnt shout 'camera bag' as I walk around.
For every day use I get everything I need in this bag. It's snug but not difficult and everything is held tightly. The construction is first rate, materials are gorgeous and it looks amazing. Its worth becoming a photographer just so you can buy one of these bags! Price is pretty high for a shoulder bag, but the quality and materials make it worth every cent.

Comments about Brixton Camera/Laptop Messenger Bag (Canvas, Smoke):

First of all, space. I love how spacious this thing is. It has everything I need as a student in it, and it has everything I need as a faux-photographer. It's got my entire life in there - business, freelance work, school, etc. - without breaking a sweat.Everything is real. Real antique (not antiqued) brass clips, real leather, real suede, etc. It doesn't look worse in the rain, and any sort of mileage makes it look better. The downsides are few and far between: it takes a little bit of time to break in (because of the leather), and mine has a wrinkle in it (par for the course and no big deal).
