The Sonos PLAY:3 All-in-One Wireless Music Player / Speaker (White) delivers digital music with HiFi sound. It works by connecting to an Internet source via Ethernet cable or Bridge (sold separately). Once connected, you can play your music from your music library or stream music from Internet Radio stations, as well as Internet music services.
The PLAY:3 features a three driver speaker system with three dedicated amplifiers - one for each driver. There's one tweeter, two mid-range drivers and one bass radiator. If one room or one speaker isn't enough, you can expand wirelessly by adding Sonos players all over your home. You can enjoy multi-room simultaneous streaming or a different music source from each player. For added flexibility, you can control your PLAY:3 remotely via Android device, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.

Comments about Sonos PLAY:3 All-in-One Wireless Music Player / Speaker (White):
This is the second speaker we got for our Bridge, the first was a birthday gift: The SONOS Play 5. This is for a smaller room and equally impressive. We will continue adding more to each room. Great sound, integration is incredible. We have all the music we could ever want and then some. Highly recommend. No disadvantages.

Comments about Sonos PLAY:3 All-in-One Wireless Music Player / Speaker (White):
I set up a network consisting of 2 Play:3 units (one upstairs, one down) and a Bridge. The setup instructions are easy to follow and the install went flawlessly. Integration with Spotify, Pandora and iTunes music library on a mac was effortless. The iOS app for controlling the system works well as long as you are in range of your existing wireless router. I'm not an audiophile but the sound quality from the Play:3 sounds great to my ears: clear, full, and as loud as you could expect from speakers near this size. The Play:3 on each floor of the house is easily heard throughout that floor (~1600 sq ft/fl). The kids (8 & 10) love it and have no trouble working the system. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. If you can stomach the purchase price, it's a great system.

Comments about Sonos PLAY:3 All-in-One Wireless Music Player / Speaker (White):
I bought 3 of these to compliment a Sonos Connect. They all connect wireless in a mesh network. The Sonos Connect is the only hardwired device. The best part about this system is the massive selection of different streaming services. Also, the ability to group the speakers together is a plus. You can control the volume of the group or individually in each group. Overall the speakers have a great sound. Comparable to a Bose single speaker system. Would recommend if you are looking for a whole house music system.
