Comments about Sonos Connect:Amp (Formerly the ZonePlayer 120):

I wired up my home 10 years ago and never finished the job. I had speakers, cat 5e, coaxial cable all installed and had it terminate into what would eventually be my a/v rack. Between all the decisions, a few kids, and the craziness of life, I've finally decided on a system that satisfies my needs..... Welcome Sonos!

For all of those who think it's a fortune or are confused by the notion of programming and such, for music, Sonos is the way to go. Get the free app and you'll be up and running in no time!

Thanks B&H for the quick shipping and as always, the great service!

Comments about Sonos Connect:Amp (Formerly the ZonePlayer 120):

This first the start of my Sonos system along with the Bridge. It is small and looks unobtrusive when in a visible place and easy to hide if you want to. Quality buil and looks and feels like something that Apple would have designed. Has wireless build in along with a network jack. If you are using the network jack, you do not need the bridge. If not, you will need the bridge. Hook up the power cord and speaker wire (not designed for surround sound speakers, just stereo) and you are done. There is no programming needed. You just control the music that you stream to it by controlling the bridge. Sound is as good as from a $500 Yamaha amp. By using this product, you get rid of all the complexity and hastle of an amplifier/receiver and have the ease of use of streaming music from your phone, any computer that you have in the house (MAC or Windows) or any network drive. The phone or iPad app is the easiest you have ever used. It's expensive but I love the system and don't regret spending the money on it. The only decision you have to make is if you really need it. An alternative is a high quality bluetooth speaker such as the Bose that you can stream to and move around the house for a fraction of the cost of several Sonos components. Another option is to get rid of your speakers and just buy a pair of the Play 3 or Play 5 speakers from Sonos and skip the connect-amp. Cost is not that different and you won't need the speaker wire.
