The 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF from Bower is a fast, wide-angle lens for Canon EF Digital SLR cameras. It is a fully manual digital lens designed for high-performance videography, particularly good in low-light situations. Aspherical, multi-coated optical glass reduces flare and provides image quality throughout the frame. The de-clicked aperture ring presents users with a smooth, silent and easy exposure adjustment while you shoot. This lens offers sharp image capture over the entire focusing range with shallow depth of field and nice bokeh. It can focus as close as 12". Durable construction, textured rings for added grip and depth of field markings makes this prime lens a good choice for shooting video. Of course, it is perfectly suited for shooting still photos as well.

A wide, fast aperture lens ideal for low light shooting and shallow depth of field photography and, especially, videography.
De-clicked aperture for smooth, silent transitions and toothed aperture and focus rings for easy manual focus and follow focus mechanisms.

Comments about Bower 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF:

I purchased this lens along with the 85mm and the Rokinon 14mm model. I am a young cinematographer who cannot afford the Canon or Zeiss lines of cinema lenses. After reading countless positive reviews about these lenses I jumped in. I have had a short time with them, but I can tell you they are great. They have a nice weight to them; definitely sturdy. The focus and declicked aperture are smooth with a smart amount of resistance for the pull. The only thing I can say that keeps it from being a 5-star is the accuracy of the focus markers which seems to be an individual lens issue. Also, there is a fair amount of reflection in the glass which suggests you are losing some light that passes through the higher quality cinemas. But, for the VERY REASONABLE price, this lens is a steal.

Comments about Bower 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF:

This lens is very sharp and is a great focal length (APS-C). The 1.5 T-Stop is great for low light and the focus and iris ring are butter smooth with just the right amount of resistance. You cannot go wrong buying this lens.

          Amazing quality

Comments about Bower 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF:

After researching for a very long time I decided to pick up the Bower 35mm compared to the Rokinon and Samyung. A friend of mine has the Rokinon and honestly I cannot tell a difference between them two. I have been using it with my Canon 7D and have been getting great results. Very sharp lens, great construction, very smooth focusing. It's a great lens for someone like me who does small productions/short films and is on a budget.

This is the same lens manufacturer Samyang and Rokinon u poucom and costs less. It's not the best lens in the world, far from it, but for that price you can do excellent quality short HD.Se used with BMCC in RAW, you can get better, pq gives to cut the edges image

Comments about Bower 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF:

I've used this product for both pictures and video. The lens preformed like a charm. One soot was for a jazz trio at a bistro. The lighting left much to be desired but with the help on one LED bounced off the ceiling i was able to capture the event. I love the fast aperture. The only thing that I notice is that the lens gets soft at the edges when you use it at 1.5. Other then this one thing the lens is a charm.

Comments about Bower 35mm T1.5 Cine Lens for Canon EF:

I have used this lens on my Canon 7D for a variety of shoots. There is something about having a cinema lens on your DSLR that just makes you strive for a better shot. Although the lenses are optically similar to the photo lenses, the way the lens feels when used for video is something completely different. This cine lens has an incredibly smooth focus ring that pairs beautifully with any follow focus. The ability to to have 100% freedom between stops on the aperature ring is also a huge plus in variable lighting conditions. I would recommend this product to the DSLR cinematographer that is looking to break away from photo lenses without breaking the bank.
