The Hitachi KP-HD20A Compact HDTV Color Camera features a 2.1 million pixel RGB Beyer CMOS sensor that delivers high quality videos. This camera has a body size of 44mm (width and height) and combined with its lightweight construction, it offers flexibility for use in many applications.
With a minimum photographic subject illumination of 0.3 lux this camera is highly sensitive to light and can be used in various low light situations. This full HD model replaces conventional analog (PAL / NTSC) camera, since it can transmit HD-SDI signal with existing coaxial cables. Approximately 100 m transmission is realized by 5C-2V coaxial cable.

Comments about Hitachi KP-HD20A Compact HDTV Color Camera:
This camera doesn't have smooth video. It appears to have a frame rate of 15-20 fps. Changing the frame rate isn't an option, and changing the shutter speed only affects the video level.
I don't know if a software update would help but I'm returning it because it's unusable as a realtime video camera.
