The M525 Wireless Mouse from Logitech is a wireless mouse that offers both comfort and convenience. First, you can use it without being tethered by wires to your computer -- feel free to surf the web, scroll through documents or click on pictures at your leisure from your couch or anywhere else. Since it employs 2.4 GHz technology, this provides speedy data transmission and virtually no delays or dropouts. To get started, plug the small Unifying receiver into an available USB port on your computer. If you want to, you can even connect up to six Unifying-compatible devices.

The M525 is made to enhance your productivity, starting with its micro-precise scroll wheel. Since it has more grooves, it will allow you to move more quickly when moving up and down on web pages or documents. The laser-grade optical sensor tracks over pretty much any surface, except for glass or mirrors.

Comfort is key when spending long hours at your computer, and the M525 excels in this department as well. It has an ergonomic shape with soft rubber grips that conform to your hand. You'll be glad to know that you can use the mouse for up to three years before needing to change them, and there's even a smart sleep mode to save power. Don't worry about any unwelcome surprises, either -- an indicator light lets you know when they're getting low. The mouse is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems for cross-platform flexibility. And last but not least, the compact size of the M525 Wireless Mouse allows you to take it just about anywhere.

Comments about M525 Wireless Mouse (Red):

I had ordered the Apple Bluetooth mouse for use with the Mac Book Pro. The Apple mouse was a very good product but a little too small in size for my hand. I had a Logitech mouse before and just order this one this and was very well pleased.

Comments about M525 Wireless Mouse (Red):

After fighting for months with a major name brand mouse that ate batteries like cheese, I finally broke down and got this little beauty. It is comfortable to use, moves smoothly, and if the batteries last even half the time they are supposed to, I am thrilled!

Comments about M525 Wireless Mouse (White):

Nothing terrible to say about the mouse. Great price point, good functionality - some people may be bothered that there's only 3 "buttons" (if you include the scroll wheel) but it is helpful to know that the mouse still comes loaded stock with the ability to go back/forward by pushing the scroll wheel in either direction.

Range seems decent - I like the small universal receiver in the event that i need any other wireless logitech devices (but seems unlikely given I'm using it for a laptop).

It is a UPnP mouse so no software/setup needed, comes with 2 AA batteries that are supposed to last for a very long time (also has an on/off switch).

My two (relatively small) complaints are that it's 1: pretty small in my hand (but this might not be a factor for other people)
2: tracking speed is a tad slow (but this could be because I'm used to wired) - this may not feel like an issue for people well-adjusted to using wireless mice.
