Comments about Powerex MH-C1090F Pro 10-Bank Rapid 9V NiMH Battery Charger:

This, according to the piece of photocopied paper that serves as a manual, charges with 90mA (0.3C) current flow. It says that should take about 2 hours. I purchased it with the 300mAH Maha batteries. It took over 4 hours for a couple of the batteries. The batteries were not in stock and shipped separately, so I assume they were factory new. Yet some finished charging much faster than the last two. I don't know if it was because of: 1) the amount of initial charge varied greatly, 2) the capacities of the batteries are very different, 3) the charger has widely different current sources on the different ports (or some combination of all three). If I had to do it again, I'd go elsewhere and get a better charger for the money. (I have designed a few smart chargers for different battery types.)
