The Powerex MHRAA4 Rechargeable AA NiMH Batteries (1.2V, 2700mAh) - 4-Pack is a package of 4 AA nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries. They have a voltage of 1.2V and a capacity of 2700mAh. The batteries can be recharged hundreds of times, and because they have memory-free operation, they will not develop memory effect, which can cause batteries to hold less charge. These batteries will retain a charge at or near their full capacities even after hundreds of charges. A battery carrying case is included.

I use these little buggers to provide electricity to appliances that don't have any. They're so much better than that kind that wear out and you just have to throw them away. These, you can put in a thingamajig that fills 'em up with electricity again after it all comes out. Izzat great or what!?!

I have been using Powerex rachargeable AA batteries for years and they are the only ones I will buy. The are reasonable in price and are consistently top quality and reliable. This is so important when using them in my camera flashes and power-hungry electronics. They are great for on-the-go power and last longer than most other brands. I have tried about 4-5 other batteries over the years and these are still the best.

I do a lot of film sound recording gigs and these batteries last me through a long day - one set is enough for Sennheiser G3 wireless transmitter/receiver; Edirol R-44 usually goes through two sets in a day. Overall comparable to heavy duty Duracell alkalines - very good.

I use these batteries for my GPS and helmet cam. I am often out for an extended time and need plenty of power to run the devices. I have used the powerex batteries and they have the best combination of power and battery life for my devices. They recharge quickly and many times over. Thus you really get your value from this product. I dont have any "not so great comments". I am very satisfied with Powerex and am on my second set of batteries.

We use these for our wireless microphones at church (Shure SLX and Audio-Technica 3000 series). Our sound consultant thinks we're crazy, but they are wonderful! They have saved us hundreds of dollars in disposable batteries, and they've never failed us once!
We put freshly charged batteries in the mics every Sunday morning before practice, and they last through all practices, rehearsals, and services throughout the week (4-6+ hours). I even forgot to change them before our Christmas musical and they lasted through the entire warm-up rehearsal and performance!
We had our first set of these batteries for 3+ years (no one remembers exactly when we got them, but we know we've had them for at least 3 years), and they still work fine. I decided to replace them because they started needing charged mid-week, and since we didn't want to risk them dying in the middle of mid-week service, we just decided to replace them. They're now used in our youth group once a week, and they're still going strong!
We've had our second (current) set for about 3 months and they're just as good as the first ones!

I bought these for off camera flash on a recommendation from someone and I am really impressed with the power and how well they hold up.
