The black Bandit II Backpack from OGIO is a very engaging entry into the seemingly endless world of laptop backpacks. With its design, capacity and functionality, it's characterized by easy access and comfort. Rated to hold your 17" laptop, it also has room for your iPad/tablet or eReader in separate padded pocket. Your laptop is well-protected within its own fleece-lined top loading compartment while your iPad is tucked safely away within the bag's zippered padded interior.
The pack features plenty of additional storage space including a main zippered compartment for a loose leaf, files and collateral material. A separate mouse/digital point/shoot camera pocket is accompanied by two exterior fleece-lined valuables pockets for delicate items such as sun and eyeglasses. One is located towards the bottom of the pack; the other at the top.
On the outside of the main compartment is another zippered compartment that contains your organizer panel styled to hold pens, smartphone, MP3 player, business or credit cards. For quick grab items, a side accessory pocket can also be used for your phone but you might prefer to use the expandable zippered phone pocket situated on one of the front shoulder straps. No need to stop, removed the pack, unzip it, search for the phone, replace it and mount up again.
The 2.4 lb pack is made of a combination of 420D dobby (woven) polyester and 600D polyester. It's carried by two adjustable and comfortable shoulder straps that are supported by a sternum strap that helps keep the pack steady on your back while you're walking, hiking or navigating through crowded commuters. The top of pack comes with a neoprene carry handle for quick grab moments. Inside, the Bandit II features OGIO's IFOM Technology (Integrated Foam Technology) that contains foam panels that cushion your valuables and guard them against bumps and incidental contact. Even the back panel has been designed with maximum comfort in mind. Its unibody construction helps maintain balance and also keeps you cool while on the go. And speaking of cool-the Bandit II also comes with two side beverage holders to keep you quenched during a day's work.
The Bandit II will serve you well whether you're a student or business person heading out for the daily commute. It's backed by OGIO's limited lifetime warranty.

Comments about OGIO Bandit II Backpack (Black):
Great quality and construction. I seem to collect backpacks (camel back, targus, swiss army, etc...) This one is the best I've owned so far. Lots of internal space, well-designed single compartments around the periphery. My only reason for not going 5 stars is that half of the internal pockets don't have snaps, velcro, or any type of closing mechanism. This means your tablet and laptop are fine if you roll or tip your backpack upside down. Unfortunately if you have a recharging batter in the same compartment, its unsecured. The front pouch then looks like a yardsale of stuff. Beyond those very minor issues, this is my favorite backpack.
