The purple/olive green 5 Million Dollar Home Bag from Crumpler is slightly larger than their 4 Million Dollar Home Bag but still remains a get-around shoulder bag designed to hold a standard DSLR or mirrorless camera as well as two lenses, plus accessories like a flash, extra battery, and memory cards. The tough, 900-Denier exterior fabric is water-resistant and is complimented by a brushed padded nylon interior that is constructed not to hurt the finish of your equipment. The inside of the bag can be configured by using the movable touch-fastened dividers.

The bag is held in shape by its padded base and is protected by a large front flap that is secured with a snap buckle. The adjustable, 2.0" wide shoulder strap and the ergonomically-shaped padded carry handle make toting this bag comfortable. When using this bag in an environment where discretion is required, the touch fastener between the front compartment and the front flap can be made quiet by utilizing a fold-out silencer flap. By temporarily stopping the hook and loop portions of the touch fastener from coming into contact with each other, the sound created by opening a touch fastener is prevented while the bag can still be closed by using its buckle. As an added feature, the 5 Million Dollar Home Bag gives you a pair of side accessory loops on which you can attach other photo gear - perhaps a cleaning cloth, media card holder, mini tripod, or lens pouches.

For all sorts of smaller accessories, there's a zippered rear pocket and two mesh pockets inside the front compartment. This is a rugged street bag created to meet the demands of people who need a durable shoulder bag that holds your gear with a maximum of protection.

Touch Fastener Silencer
The touch fastener between the front flap and front compartment can be quieted using the included touch fastener silencer flap. With the silencer flap in use, the front compartment can be discreetly opened, closed, and locked down with the adjustable front buckle
Flexible, Accessible Space
The main compartment features two configurable touch fastened and brushed padded nylon dividers, while the dual zone front pocket features gusseted sides
Wide, Adjustable Shoulder Strap
The more gear you carry, the more you need a wide shoulder strap to distribute the weight - and the more you'll appreciate the 5 Million Dollar Home's soft but strong 2.0" wide strap webbing. Complete with an adjustable buckle system, the length of the strap can be varied from 24 to 36"
Carry Handle
Ergonomic foam provides excellent comfort. It's shaped to fit your hand and fingers for ease of transport
Accessory Loops
The reinforced side accessory loops lets you attach other equipment for instant access
Waterproofing
Be it rain, hail, sleet, or snow, the bag's 900D outer is designed to weather the storm and keep your equipment dry
Anti-Abrasive Surface
The 900D outer and brushed padded nylon interior combine strength with smoothness. Your clothes don't catch and your equipment won't get scratched
Structural Integrity
The padded base insert ensures the bag holds its shape even when loaded - while the curved flap keeps everything under cover

I have been looking for something compact to travel with, that will fit my camera body, along with a few lenses. The backpack I have been using is compact, but much too wide. It get's in the way and becomes annoying. This crumpler bag has everything I was looking for and is not too wide. It's perfect for me!

I have the first 5 million dollar bag and it has a fold in the back that makes it tip over bought it in 2011. Crumpler replaced the bag in 2014 saying it shouldn't have a fold. Sent me a new bag which is smaller has less security and padding and STILL HAS A FOLD IN IT for the same money. They made it cheaper and thought no one would notice. This bag is dangerous if you care for your SLR The body is not protected at all. I would not buy this bag at the new smaller and cheaper style.

This is a really nice bag. It comfortably carries my 5D MkII with a general purpose zoom attached. Like everything from Crumpler, it is well constructed from heavy duty materials. Highly recommended.

Comments about 5 Million Dollar Home Bag (Black/Black):

Crumpler has been know to make a good bag and this is no exception. While it retails on the pricey side, catching it in B&H's deal zone made it absolute no brainer. I have a ton of gear. I have large backpack and slings and a large rolling camera bag. But, when I wanted to just carry my 60D body/OMD E-M5 body and a couple of lenses I had nothing medium and inconspicuous in size. This solved my problem and did so without hurting my pocket at all.

I jumped on the $ deal, and didn't realize it was so small. For $ I like it, otherwise, not terribly impressed. The quality seems very high but the usability seems less than stellar. By the time I fit my T3i with 50 mm attached and 1 zoom lens in, everything was very tight and I couldn't really fit my flash in. Nice pockets on the outside for small things.

I use this bag for my Sony a6000 body plus three lenses, a spare battery, a battery charger, extra lens and body caps and a Sony HVL-F20M external flash. The bag is well constructed from durable materials and can be adjusted to achieve a comfortable fit. Use for a DSLR plus lenses and a few accessories would be limited and may require the 6 Million dollar bag.

Comments about 5 Million Dollar Home Bag (Black/Black):

It's a nice little bag but a bit too small for a full sized body plus a decent lens like a 24-70. I think this would make a great bag for a mirrorless camera plus other accesories or perhaps for a rebel with a standard lens. I own the 7 Million dollar bag and feel that's as small as someone with a 7D or a 5D3 would want to go.

It's a well crafted bag and built to last. I got it on a B&H holiday sale so it made sense. I'm not sure I'd pony up full price for it. (Read: heck no)I use it to hold a mirrorless camera (Fuji X), with an 18-55mm and straight 50 lens with no problems. I've added a Lowepro lens pouch to hold a 55-200mm and that seems to be working. It's a small, well constructed bag. I'd say it's good for travel or when protection is of great importance. Otherwise, I'd probably get something a little larger. I wouldn't consider this for a DSLR--smaller, mirrorless camera would work best.Likewise, front pouch is very small--only for a battery or two and small accessories. 4 stars for the price I payed...less (fer sure) if I had to pony up full price.

Well made bag as is most Crumpler products. This bag is fairly small so it's great for a mirrorless system with 2 lenses, maybe 3 depending on the lenses. Can also fit memory cards, couple filters, lens wipes, etc... Much more than that and you may need something bigger. Only complaint is i wish the back of the bag was sturdier, it kind of bends in the middle. The material is nice though so the bag is both durable and a little flimsy, haha. Not a big deal really in the end.

Bought this bag on sale, was too cheap to pass up. I'm using it as a dual purpose bag. A bare bones setup for a 5dIII with an 85 1.4 and 24-105. Also for a all my micro 4/3's gear. We'll built and tough.Only wish it had a tablet pocket.
