I own a photography and video studio and bought this workstation to edit portraits and wedding videos. It has all the software you need already installed, and all the right hardware to keep up with the demands of HD video editing. After all, it is built by a company that specializes in computers for audio and video production!
The descripiton said it would take 7-10 business days to install the software before shipping, but it was at my doorstep less than a week after ordering it! I called B&H to register it, and found out they already took care of that for me, too!
The only thing I would recommend is installing more RAM in it.

I do video editing - I use an mackie onyx interface and canon xha1 camera - both units require fire wire (which I prefer over usb, however seems to growing extinct on most PCs - thats a whole other story)I received the unit from B&H - it was damaged with a huge dent on the top that revealed the inside components of the drive. I needed to get back to work - asap, and did not have time for an exchange (for the record B&H offered to do an exchange - I declined for a discount instead)The machine works like a monster. I have installed protools, and the Adobe Creative Suite. It runs like a charm. Though with all the power of the computer, I did still get a "High PC usage" at one point, but this was due to some serious high end workload I was dealing with.Overall, I have been really pleased with it. I opened up the panels to get a look at the inside, and check for any damage - it unit was fine and very attractive - it should have a clear case instead ;)

I use this computer to edit HD video (Adobe Premiere CS6 ) and to edit still photos in Photoshop.While "works as advertised" does not seem like a resounding endorsement, it is in fact.As a videographer engaged in documentary long form projects, I don't miss freezes, waiting for rendering or any of the many time consuming delays associated with PC based edit systems. I did experience some startup bugs which were speedily solved with the help of Rain Support!I would reccommend this computer to professional editors and photographers.
