    Good Quality Backdrop

    By Charles Leslie

Comments about Backdrop Alley Commando Cloth Backdrop (10 x 12', Black):

I bought this one after returning a Muslin one. This backdrop does not leak light from my studio strobe through like the lesser quality backdrop did. With the cheaper one you could see right through the backdrop with a correctly exposed subject in front of the cloth. The cloth is heavy (looks like it could be made from felt but weighs more) and is a very black color. It's a flat finish that doesn't reflect light. The only complaint I have is for this price it should come with a bag.

Comments about Backdrop Alley Commando Cloth Backdrop (10 x 12', Black):

shot this drop cloth (and the white one) in mid day sunlight in central park in nyc...it provided a perfect black background with zero reflection. the 10x12 was the perfect size too...was able to shoot 5 models standing and sitting with plenty of room above and below the subjects. i also washed it in the washing machine and it washed well.

Comments about Backdrop Alley Commando Cloth Backdrop (10 x 12', Black):

This thing is a black hole. No bleed through, no wrinkles visible. You can make it go grey with sidelighting under certain angles of course but it will not be easy. This backdrop is as good as it gets when you need to go dark.
