The affordable and feature-packed Toshiba Camileo Z100 Full HD 3D Camcorder supports both 2D and 3D recording in 1920 x 1080p Full HD resolution. You can capture 3D and 2D still images as well. For 2D, the Z100 supports up to 16-megapixel (interpolated) images. For 3D, you can shoot 4-megapixel still images. The camera has an integrated 128MB NAND flash memory, but you can also record directly onto an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card up to 128GB in size. Plus, the camcorder incorporates several user-friendly shooting controls and options. The Z100 features a 4x 3D digital zoom, 10x 2D digital zoom and a 2.8" glasses-free 3D touch screen LCD display for real-time recording, as well as for instant 3D or 2D playback.
The touch panel display also functions as a menu screen, which can be used to select various settings and features before each recording or image capture session. The camcorder is outfitted with a 5-megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor as well, which features backside illumination for better low light performance. Other photo functions include a 10 sec self-timer, ISO setting adjustments, date printing, smile detection (2D). Movie functions include motion detection, slow motion and time lapse for 2D recording, as well as pre-record for both 2D and 3D video capture.
When you return home with your still images and your video footage, you can edit your footage with ArcSoft video and photo editing software. Plus, if you want to share footage with family and friends immediately, the Z100 features a mini HDMI output for quickly connecting the camcorder to a compatible HDTV. Once connected, the HDMI can transfer uncompressed 1080p Full HD and up to 5.1 channel surround sound directly to your HDTV and home entertainment system.
At the end of a long day of shooting, the Z100 can be charged via USB connection or via the included AC power adapter. The camcorder also comes with an HDMI cable, carrying case, lens cover set, cleaning cloth and much more. I purchased this just to play with 3d some and it has meet all my requirements. some things that changed from the originals it has a removable battery. the quality of the 3d video is very good at least to my eyes. There are a couple of down sides but nothing great it doesn't do real good in low light. Sometimes focus seems to be off in lower light. But I have seen that issue with higher quality cameras also. overall rating I believe it is a camera worth having.

Even at B & H's great price there are superior video cameras for less money offered by B & H.

I have so many camcorders, Samsung, Sony, JVC for different uses.
Recently I bought a 3D TV and wanted to shoot my own 3D video clips, after a long time research I chose to buy Camileo Z100 which is my first Toshiba camcorder and I really like it.
I'll try to use it later when I'm skydiving, I need to use a case for protecting my first 3D camcorder.

I got this because I got a 3D tv and my iphone was full of videos of my kid. Picture quality is great for videos shot outside or in brightly lit areas, and becomes choppy indoors. 3D quality is good, but anything moving withing 2 feet will make you dizzy. My only dislike is the lowest zoom setting is too close,no image stibilazation, and the mic does not pick up much sound, otherwise its a great buy.

I bought this as a gift for one of my workmates. We are in a video/ photography business. She uses it for home movies, short films, and 3D movies. The clarity is awesome! Internal audio is good and it has an input for an external microphone or boom microphone. The three d effect is superb. It has two irises for perfecting the 3d. The downside is there is no input for a headset. Also there is no shoe for a shotgun microphone. These however are very minor issues. This is a very good camcorder.

I bought this camera because it has shooting features in full HD 3D and 2D and is pretty cheap considering its price point for other 3D cameras that could be seen at $ or up. What I like about this camera is it is pretty compact and its capability to shoot 3D/2D at low light. The video quality comes out in great quality. As far as I do not zoom during its operation, the video looks great. However, if I zoom when videoing it, the lens does not perform well as you could feel as if it is trying to move a heavy object or something. You could see it in the video playback. All in all, this camera is just for a beginner or someone who just wants to experience in 3D shootings at best. This camera cannot be used as a replacement to shoot for special occasions like most other cameras would do. I am just happy to get this 3D camera. With all the features available in it, it is worth a buy!
