The black Lens Bag from Shootsac is a sling-style shoulder bag that allows you to have from 3-6 lenses at your disposal quickly and efficiently. It's not meant to be or replace a traditional shoulder bag that holds your DSLR but rather it's akin to a "bandolier" where you store lenses, flashes and/or accessories.
With its slim, lightweight (7.0 oz) profile, it hugs your body with its wetsuit-grade neoprene material avoiding the needs to lug around a heavy, bulky camera bag. For the shooter who travels with a DSLR and only wants to tote around a bunch of lenses, the Shootsac Lens Bag is the answer. It is also designed to hold small accessories such as batteries and memory cards.
The Shootsac Lens Bag has six pockets. The front three have hidden elastic inserts that stretch to accommodate the lens being stored. The rear three pockets are recommended for your small accessories. The bag also comes with an interchangeable neoprene cover that serves two functions. First, since the pockets do not seal, it helps keep the dust and dirt off your glass. Perhaps more importantly, it covers up the bulges and bumps of the lenses and adds a level of security while you're on the move. The cover comes with a handy microfiber lens cloth to help keep your optics clean.

I have tried different bags over the years, the last one was a Boda bag which I found to cumbersome and it kept knocking into things. My wife has uses the shootsac and raves about it.So I bought one and WOW, it's just perfect, not just for lenses, I carry audio equipment, camera batteries, CF cards and I can access them all easily and it doesn't get in the way while I'm filming.

When I ordered this bag, I knew it wouldn't be the bag with the most padding or protection but I knew it would have the greatest accessability to my lenses, flashes, and memory cards. It really does wrap nicely around your body and I just forget that I'm even wearing it. I keep extra batteries, lenses, lens hoods, and more inside this bag and it has no trouble holding it all.

Comments about Shootsac Lens Bag (Black):
Works great while walking around shooting and packing a spare lens, cap, flash etc.. With 3 main pockets it makes a great place to stash the lens you are removing while you cap it and then install the new lens ... no looking for a safe surface to lay the one lens down on during the swap. Have used with sigma 50-500 and a nikor 24-120 and it worked great.Would be a 5 star except the cost is a little high and would prefer it in white or some other lighter color. Black does not help keep gear cool. Pic on web showed a white patterned flap with no color option but it arrived all black.

This is a carry-along that I wish I'd had years ago. It is not rigid, which makes it much more comfortable to "wear". It is made of a material that is sturdy and user-friendly.
I have many camera/video bags that I purchased over the years. I worked for a camera store for nine years so I was able to obtain items at an employee discount. So, I have just about one of everything.
However, this lens/accessory bag is just the thing for a casual shoot or day out.
I haven't used it enough to find a disadvantage but it may not hold the largest lenses I have.
Kudos to the designer.

The perfect answer for transporting lenses. In the front pockets I carry my Sony Nex and 2 extra lenses. In the back pockets - other stuff (a sandwich, a water bottle - anything for a day out shooting). The Lens Bag fits close to the body - no bulk even when carrying the 'other stuff'. Would not want to be without it.

Comments about Shootsac Lens Bag (Black):
I use it to carry Nikon 80-400 and 14-24 lens and a Nikon flash. There is plenty of room for them, the material provides a bit of protection, and it is comfortable to carry. The bag would be a bit better if the outside compartments were a little larger so they could carry things like a Lee filter system.

This is quick and easy to use. I keep all of my essentials with me at all times. As long as I remember to close the bag nothing falls out of it. This is my second one and i do not know how they could inmprove it!

Able to grab lenses quick and go for outing
Carries reasonable amount of gear comfortably
Must leave empty space to have somewhere to put the lens you just changed, getting the hang of changing lenses with it.

Comments about Shootsac Lens Bag (Black):
I shoot events at my church, like services, receptions, and special events. Before I got my shootsac, I left all my other lenses at the back of the church, so when I'm peeking around from the front of the church, I'm stuck with the lens I have on my camera. Now I can carry my other lenses with me. I tried a Kelly Girl bag first, but it felt uncomfortable and I knew I would not be able to move around comfortably while shooting. The Shootsac is made out of some cool material that makes the bag seem to mold to your body. I just like wearing it.

Comments about Shootsac Lens Bag (Black):
I'm a wedding photographer and usually end up carrying a clunky square bag to hold my gear (which makes it difficult to move around) or no bag at all (which makes it so I have to go back to "base" often to change gear) but this solved my problem. I didn't even notice I was wearing it.
I wish it had a couple smaller compartments to hold a cell phone and CF cards, but I've easily made due so I can't complain. :)
I definitely wish it came with the shoulder coushin, though, rather than having to buy it on it's own. I may end up ordering that (silly) add-on later.
