The black WB100 Digital Camera from Samsung features a 26x optical zoom, with its 22-580mm super-zoom lens, and a 16.2MP resolution sensor that helps you capture life in outstanding detail, whether up-close or far away.
Just as the 26x zoom aids in shooting photos it also records 720p HD movies to capture events as they happen. The WB100 also uses Dual Image Stabilization, with both optical and digital stabilization methods (OIS & DIS), which ensures your shots will be sharp even when your hands aren't perfectly steady.
Enhancing the camera's ease of use are features that include a top dial with various shooting modes to quickly switch between as the scenery changes, as well as the use of 4x included "AA" batteries that you can replace while on the road. Begin shooting photos or videos in an instant with the external controls, then edit the images with the included Samsung Intelli-Studio software when you return home.

- Capture minute details and textures with the camera's 16.2MP resolution image sensor, making your photos rich and clear even out to the long end of the optical zoom. Having a high resolution 1/2.3" CCD sensor is ideal when you plan to create large prints, and also provides the flexibility to enlarge and crop sections of an image when you wish to alter the composition.

- For a camera this small, having a 26x optical zoom is an outstanding feature that is the 35mm equivalent of an enormous 22-580mm super-zoom lens--without the weight and need for support. This provides a huge range of potential uses when you must stand back from the action as getting in too close would disrupt the scene you're trying to capture--or get you tackled. At the other end, the lens' 22mm wide-angle perspective allows you to capture more scenery and environment in every frame, for more dynamic and exciting shots.

My dad just wanted a simple, but good camera he is 68 years old and he is not tech smart at all. As soon as he turned it on he figured out the functions and how easy it is to use. takes very good pictures as well. He is very happy with the camera and I am glad it was exactly what we were looking for.

for years i wanted to step up my photography skills abit, but for years i have been using a standard point and shoot. when it was time, i wanted to get something that could take me to the next step of a point and shoot, but with the quality of a DSLR. this camera does the trick. i can take high quality photos day or night, especially with its bright flash, the zoom withing the 26x lens makes the detail of even the furthest shots seems so detail in closeup, and what makes it even better is that its very easy to carry for on the go. plus it comes in my favorite color! (red of course!) all in all, i would definatly recommend this to anyone who wants to go to the next step in their camera skills before getting a DSLR, but want to get more bang to their buck!

I received this camera as a gift two days ago, and I must say I was immediately impressed with the quality. It is so easy to use that I was able to take it hiking with me at the local lake and used it to take many great photos without even having read the manual yet. Also, note that it is February in Virginia and although it was about 25 degrees, the camera functioned flawlessly. This is a fantastic camera and at such a great price. I would recommend it to anyone!

I have other SLR's but is easier than a SLR. I bought this as a present to my self for a more simlpler camera to use when I am out , It has Everything My SLR has but way easier to use no lenseto change with the 26 optical zoom which is futher than my other camera's . With the Large LCD screen and the option for picture taking on top the camera including the smart function any one can take a great pic. In a nutshell I was Very Pleased with My New Toy and can't wait till spring and Summer to go and and get some Great shots.

I got this camera for Christmas. It was easy from min. !. No more trying to align three guide lines to get a panaromic pic. Find your subject. set the dial, mash your shutter and sweep your camera. Just like that you have your very nice pic. This camera is so user friendly that you dont need an owners guide but i guess to some it is important. My Great great niece was the only camera ham that day. But she made a pretty pic anyway!!!

I've been dealing with digital cameras for quite a few years now. After having been started on a simple point and shoot, which I loved but the shutter would no longer open, I had to buy what I could afford at the time. That ended up being a less than stellar camera which I became increasingly frustrated with. So for Christmas I decided I needed a new camera. I wanted better than a point and shoot, but not quite as overboard as a DSLR. This was given to me for Christmas and I couldn't be happier! It offers many fun settings, which are pretty much icing on the cake. The 26x Optical Zoom is the beauty of this thing. The images are the clearest and sharpest images of any of the 3 cameras I owned. I can now photograph birds and other wildlife with clarity and detail that eluded me before.
