Comments about Razer Deathadder Black Gaming Mouse:

I've been through my fair share of gaming mice, and in my 13 years of PC gaming, Razer has proven to be a more reliable company when it comes to providing a reasonable product for a good price. With two clickable thumb buttons resting on the left side of the mouse (Left-Handed versions available), the Deathadder provides an ergonomic gaming experience and fits well in the hand. My only qualm is there is no button to switch DPI on the fly. Depending on your needs as a gamer, Razer offers many options in their gaming mice. If you're looking for something simple and durable, go with a Deathadder, you won't be dissapointed.

Comments about Razer Deathadder Black Gaming Mouse:

I had a Deathadder 3500 for about 2 years, and it was the best mouse I had ever used during that time until the left button started double-clicking for each single click. So I bought the Black Edition. I still love the Deathadder feel and almost unlimited configuration in the software (I didn't want to try the Synapse system...stayed with the legacy program & drivers), and the clicks are very solid with good resistance. Those are the positives. Now for the negatives: The feet drag (so much that I pulled the feet off the old Deathadder and put them over the new ones, which solved most of that problem, but still not as good as the previous experience). Also, poor quality control allowed someone to put the circular sticker around the sensor on crooked, which scraped on the mouse pad. I ended up removing the sticker, which helped somewhat, but the added clearance with the doubled mouse feet was what really prevented scraping. So far the old mouse feet are staying put on the new ones, but I'm just waiting for them to start peeling off. The worst negative is that Razer has really messed up the scroll function on this mouse. Regardless of how I adjust it in the software, it sometimes jumps too many lines or even goes backwards when I scroll forward. I have read other reviews where people have said the same thing about their scroll experiences. I also have a Logitech MX518, which is a quality product and would become my default mouse, but it just doesn't have that nice Razer feel in the hand. Please, Razer, improve your quality control or you'll lose customers!

Comments about Razer Deathadder Black Gaming Mouse:

I bought this mouse to replace my Microsoft Habu mouse that was made by Razor. I am very happy with the mouse so far but I do miss the Habu.
