Comments about Razer Mamba Elite Ergonomic Gaming Mouse:

        Hello future mamba buyers,

I bought the Razer Mamba 2012 edition on the B&H store.

First of all I really like the way of shipping: you could just choose you way, so I choosed for a 2-day shipping with UPS and it came perfectly in time.

I use my mouse now for a couple of weeks and it feels really nice. No delay, buttons work perfect, and as a Dota 2 player I even could use the macro option. With the hero Kunkka I could perfectly make an artificial button setup, so I could combine my first and third spell flawless!

Of course is the 16 million color option as nice as the macro. Also if you just keep it by 1 dpi setting, you could use the two small bottons on the upper left-side of you mouse also as a hotkey for example or all the other option you could choose out, that you also can choose with the normal side buttons.

One thing I'm only not sure of is the sensor next to the middle round sensor. I'm wondering if it's just to measure the height of the mouse, or if it doesn't work because when i cover the middle sensor, the mouse won't work and there doesn't come any red laser light out of it. I thought that you would had one invisible and one (with red laser ligh) visible sensor just to move the mouse?

Any comments on this question I would appreciate!

        Bye, lucky buyer.

BTW: the mouse even works perfect on a wooden surface or whatever with out a mouse-pad!!

Comments about Razer Mamba Elite Ergonomic Gaming Mouse:

I use it for gaming, sitting at my bed while using my computer.

I use it mainly for mundane tasks, i rarely gamed wit it yet.

It's a little too fast for me but I think itll just get some getting used to.

Comments about Razer Mamba Elite Ergonomic Gaming Mouse:

This is a step up from my 5 year old logitech wireless mouse, and not just in quality. With the exception of the DPI controls and the optional wireless to wired feature, it is not really that different. The 4G feature really doesn't change the precision, not noticeably at least. I also had to return mine because it was making a squeaking noise whenever I clicked. It comes down to it being overpriced, lacking features, and one bad option in the sea of better choices.
