When I started out with my first SLR camera I lugged around a large, very awkward Canon bag. Now while it is great for holding a lot of gear it wasn't exactly pleasant having to bring my camera bag, my purse, and possibly a diaper bag. I hated carrying around multiple bags but throwing my camera in my purse just was NOT an option. I didn't want it getting damaged by the lack of padding. A bath towel or diapers just doesn't do the trick - trust me! I began researching some different companies and their bags, looking at their websites and reviews online. Eventually one company really stood out to me, and that was Epiphanie by Maile Wilson. These bags are just plain awesome with their bright, fun colors & design.I have had my 'Lola' bag for a year now and I seriously adore it! Now I carry ONE bag that safely holds my gear. I can easily fit my Canon 6D Camera body with a lens attached, two additional lenses, speedlite, extra memory cards, and batteries. There are two exterior pockets which are great for my phone and keys. The padding inserts can be arranged or removed to best support the gear I am currently carrying. There is also a removable cross body strap that I wear while I'm shooting so I can keep my bag at my hip in each reach when I need to switch lenses.Lola has traveled all over with me and the truth is that I cannot imagine carrying another bag! My only regret with the Lola was not getting a bag slightly larger that would hold an iPad or laptop. Though I do believe it could easily fit an iPad mini. Sooo…I might secretly be hinting and hoping for the Clover bag in Gray for Christmas! (So here's hoping maybe I'll have another review for you soon!)

I bought this bag at a pro-shop in the DFW area for my wife for Christmas. She loved it until the shoulder strap attach failed and sent her bag falling to the ground. Fortunately, nothing was damaged that we can tell. Upon inspecting the failed attach point, it was no wonder; the leather flap looks secure until you see that the fold that rests against the bag is not one piece, and that only half of all those stitches are contacting leather that supports the strap - a pretty serious flaw in the design of a camera bag. Anyway, when I contacted Epiphanie, they did not review the issue; they sent me back to the retailer to exchange the bag when I was trying to identify a serious issue. If you own this bag, be very careful; if you don't, why take the chance.

Comments about Lola Shoulder Bag (Red):

I bought this camera bag because I love Epiphanie. I have never had any problems, they are strong and roomy. I loved the color and style of this bag, and still do, it's beautiful. But, the opening is very narrow and it is not easy getting camera and lens into the bag. I find it annoying to have to dig into the bag. I would not buy this style again. But still love Epiphanie.

Comments about Lola Shoulder Bag (Mustard):

This bag looks so much nicer than the traditional camera bag. It is a little smaller than I imagined, but it can handle my camera with a large lens, and extra zoom lense, external flash, battery charger, and still has room on top for my wallet.

Comments about Lola Shoulder Bag (Red):

So very disappointed in my Epiphanie bag So much time doing all the research for the perfect bag & the hard earned money spent, only to have the seams start to come apart & the color starting to wear off a year later. Is it too much to expect a nice bag to last me longer than a year? Do I use it everyday you ask? No, only to photo sessions that require a camera and one or two lenses. I have had fifty dollar purses last me longer than this. I guess for the price I paid I expected more durability from it.

i use the lola bag to hold my camera as well as an everyday purse. i tried to fit a couple notebooks to be able to use it at school as well, but the size definitely doesn't allow for that! but either way the insides are awesome since you can set it up anyway you want. beware my ONLY con to this bag is how wide it is at the bottom! i've been asked "are you going overnight somewhere" many times....i guess some people dont appreciate oversized bags! the bottom is necessary to keep the camera protected.

many girls on the other hand of complimented me and are super surprised to find out that its a camera bag!

I had high hopes for my Lola after searching high and low for the perfect camera bag and I am NOT disappointed, am totally in love with this bag.

Its super comfy, fits 3 lenses, camera body, and additional CF cards as well as my personal bits and bods ie wallet, iPhone, Make up....

The leather is very soft and the inside is padded extremely well.
