The Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for Mac and Windows is pretty much a complete remake over version 10, aimed as much as possible at ease of use -- at user-friendliness, very easy video editing, an efficient workflow, and instant web-sharing (and it's compatible with both PCs and Macs). Premiere Elements has for a long time been among the most-used consumer-level editing programs available, and version 11 is in all regards the best Elements yet.

I used to be a film maker - then when PC video came around, I bought Premiere along with a capture card and started editing videos. Since Premiere uses a film-like work flow, it was a natural for me. I've been away from video editing for quite some time - now with HD on my iPhone, I needed something to edit w/o a big learning curve. I downloaded Premiere Elements to my new Asus G655VW and voila! I was right at home. It's fast and works perfectly.

Premiere Elements is a fairly good video editor if you don't have a lot of money to spend; it can handle HD video from a Canon dSLR, and runs OK on an older (2010) laptop (but not overly fast). However, it lacks some helpful features like video noise reduction and an easy, obvious way to apply effects to all clips (like a sharpening filter to a group of clips). Its audio noise reduction tools are quite stellar, and the color and exposure modification tools work well too. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend <$100 on video software, but if you can afford it, get something better.

Great for the occasional user like me. I've tried the pro version (older version of Adobe Premiere) and just couldn't figure it out. This product is very easy and understandable with plenty of tutorials and help. The guided version is a blessing. The price is incredible for such a powerful program. Since I don't do all that much video, having this affordable and easy to use program made it good for my wallet and good for my sanity. It does have one major flaw and that is it doesn't like dual screens. I prefer working on monitor 2 and it simply won't go there without heavy prodding. I've figured out how to do it but it's not easy.

I tried two other programs that did not work for me. I've always trusted Adobe and Premiere Elements worked perfectly and is getting my projects done. I was able to edit videos, make adjustments and make a DVD the first time using it without any trouble! If you have enough RAM and hard drive space, you will be pleasantly surprised with this software. It has many great features, special effects and I can edit menus easily. Too many great features to mention and I also love the fact that it has been able to handle my large HD .mov files!Things that aren't so great about it? None that I can think of except I can't extend the time duration for music within the menu itself. It's stuck at 30 seconds. Another issue is I didn't choose this software sooner.

Premiere Elements is a fairly good video editor if you don't have a lot of money to spend; it can handle HD video from a Canon dSLR, and runs OK on an older (2010) laptop (but not overly fast). However, it lacks some helpful features like video noise reduction and an easy, obvious way to apply effects to all clips (like a sharpening filter to a group of clips). Its audio noise reduction tools are quite stellar, and the color and exposure modification tools work well too. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to spend <$100 on video software, but if you can afford it, get something better.

This is my first video editting experience and I was surprised by how quickly I was able to learn and utilize the Quick version of PE 11. I am using it to edit business presentation videos and I only wish it had PIP graphics capability. Otherwise I am very pleased with it.

It has a very good orgainzer where you can recognize a specific video by it's icon. It
also reads a lot of different video formats
without a problem which makes it very useful.
I have only done minor editing at this time
but expect to do more in the future. Easy to
use.

Great for the occasional user like me. I've tried the pro version (older version of Adobe Premiere) and just couldn't figure it out. This product is very easy and understandable with plenty of tutorials and help. The guided version is a blessing. The price is incredible for such a powerful program. Since I don't do all that much video, having this affordable and easy to use program made it good for my wallet and good for my sanity. It does have one major flaw and that is it doesn't like dual screens. I prefer working on monitor 2 and it simply won't go there without heavy prodding. I've figured out how to do it but it's not easy.

I tried two other programs that did not work for me. I've always trusted Adobe and Premiere Elements worked perfectly and is getting my projects done. I was able to edit videos, make adjustments and make a DVD the first time using it without any trouble! If you have enough RAM and hard drive space, you will be pleasantly surprised with this software. It has many great features, special effects and I can edit menus easily. Too many great features to mention and I also love the fact that it has been able to handle my large HD .mov files!Things that aren't so great about it? None that I can think of except I can't extend the time duration for music within the menu itself. It's stuck at 30 seconds. Another issue is I didn't choose this software sooner.
