It is a great laptop. I usually use it for my remote job, size is great, sleek and elegant looking. Excellent performance. It would be nice to have the backlight keyboard otherwise reasonable for the price. Highly recommend.

Comments about Sony VAIO T Series SVT13124CXS 13.3" Multi-Touch Ultrabook Computer (Silver Mist):
Great little laptop. Not sure how the aluminum cover will keep scratches and fingerprints at bay over the long haul, but so far so good. For a small ultrabook, the keyboard is surprisingly comfortable. I've been using it to write a lot of documents and emails and haven't really complained about the keyboard size or comfort yet. I do wish the raised dots on the 'F' and 'J' keys were a bit more prominent. It'd make getting my hands back to the home position for typing a bit easier. I suppose I'll get used to the keyboard more and more over time.
Screen is bright and clear, even in bright light. Video playback is smooth, with accurate colors. Track pad is responsive, as is the touchscreen. Hand position when typing is important - it's pretty easy for your palms to hit the track pad and move the cursor around if you're not careful.
I was surprised at how 'dense' the laptop felt. It's really not heavy – it just seems that way because I expected it to feel lighter. Saying it's "solid" is probably the best way to describe it. Best thing about it is that it's small enough for my wife to jam in one of her larger purses if push comes to shove. Battery life seems as good as advertised, and I love the fast boot time.
For those who want some of the functionality of a tablet, but want a keyboard and full 'office ready' laptop that's ready to go anywhere, this is a great solution. Plenty of ports (USB, HDMI, SD card, etc.), though no DVD drive, make it easy to add storage or peripherals – a shortcoming of a lot of tablets. Windows 8 is taking some getting used to, though the help files have come in handy a couple of times so far.
